Nice store. Parking is annoying, but that's city life I suppose. Aldis & Trader Joe's are considerably less expensive. I shop at Wholefoods for specialty items.

The new store is so much better than the old one! The layout is roomy and easy to shop, and I’m loving the increased selection. I’ve also had great experiences with the grocery pickup option.

Lots of great produce that can't be found in other grocery stores in Pittsburgh. One of my favorite parts of Whole Foods is there bread selection which has lots of different baked in-house breads ranging from ones with lots of grains in them to sourdough. It's also a good spot if you just want to grab a small sweet treat or movie snack as they have some unique snacking options.

This store used to be a wonderful experience, and then Amazon took over and got rid of everything that made Whole Foods unique and fun to shop at. The store is constantly filled with empty shelves, produce, grocery, prepared foods. The employees look absolutely miserable. I shopped there yesterday for my last time. I wish companies would just settle for profits instead of RECORD profits. So sad. ?

This store has been going downhill ever since Amazon bought it! The quality and selection has diminished considerably, especially in the produce department. I’ve always shopped at WF because it’s been the local store with the highest quality selection, but now it’s merely on par with Giant Eagle. The aisles are packed with their delivery shoppers and wait lines at the register are often as bad as were during the Covid days. And the employees are obviously miserable since the Amazon takeover. I’ve heard that a new store is opening in the old Whole Foods space and I for one can’t wait to switch over! What a sad state of affairs for the once best food store in the East End!

Nice clean environment lots of fresh items but it seemed 80% of the products were Whole Foods own 365 brands not many nationally known names on the shelves. I had a breakfast there from the hot bar and previously had a lunch there the breakfast food really didn't have much flavor though I'm sure it wasn't pre-cooked it tasted like it was. Seems like it's worth going for the atmosphere but not so much for the taste of the food

In general 95% of the people who work here are awesome and hardworking. The new store is super clean (as the old one was) . It features a pizza stand, hot and cold buffet (where some delectable items can be picked up) sushi and ready meals ranging from $11 -13. There is an indoor spot where one can eat and drink too.. The ready meals use to be generous bomb but now the servers are scrimping on the amounts which has caused me to abandon this option and go for the hot and cold buffet. Their pastry shop has expanded and if you have a sweet tooth you will leave happy. There is also a cheese hub where you can learn about all kinds of different cheeses. Also as an added bonus you can buy booze here!!! They do scan your ID which is outrageous as even the PA state store does not intrude upon your identity, collecting all kinds of sensitivity information they have NO right to. (Also those devils Giant Eagle also scan IDs with alcohol purchases.) Don't know why they do this. (I was given some b.s. answer) However if you want a great selection of booze and do not mind your id getting the big brother, this store does not disappoint. For that I had to take off a star. This store also has a very quick self service station where you can check out yourself and people are there to help you. And also, remember you can pick up or drop off unwanted Amazon purchases here. The prices for items vary and one can still shop here and get all kinds of goodies without breaking the bank. They also have loads of sales. If you are a prime member you can get discounts too. Late in the day, they tend to run out of food. If you are a carnivore, I recommend the collard greens and pulled pork. I did not get a good pic of the pastry bar. It includes a vast variety of goodies. This bakery is my go to spot for bake goods. The quality is high...props to the pastry chefs. Enjoy!

People here are friendly and the inventory is bountiful. However, we have to switch to other Whole Foods location due to the worsen shopping experience. There were at least seven Amazon shoppers during non-rush hour the last couples of times we were here, and some were blocking shelves and path by standing still and chatting with each other nonstop, which made the already compact store way more crowded than weekend nights.

We love this particular Whole Foods location because of the staff. Everyone is warm, helpful and always in a great mood. They do their best to keep everything fully stocked and the individuals at the fish and meat counters are always knowledgeable/willing to make special cuts.

As far as layout and selection are concerned pretty typical of a whole foods. Smaller than average bulk section. Didn't rate any higher because was mislead over phone regarding water refill station at this location. Know and behold was right there at back of isles, like I was told it was not.

Huge lines. And they don't even open all the checkout counters. Avoid this place if you're in a hurry. The Market District has nearly as much stuff, but I don't have to wait half an hour to check out there.

This is where you'd want to go if you're looking for organic food. The good is definitely more expensive than anywhere else but for the quality and variety you're getting it's justified. Staff is very friendly. Location is also very convenient with parking outside for your car. The place also has a kiosk for some Amazon returns saving you a trip to a UPS.

They have black forest bacon which few stores in Pittsburgh have. Plus good produce- like fennel and artichokes. The artichokes were huge, fresh and delicious. Can't wait for the new one to open on Penn.

I’m a huge Whole Foods fan. I’m visiting from out of town and this location is the worst I’ve ever been to. I came to grab lunch.. not one seat in sight to eat inside, I waited in line for 45 mins to even buy my lunch because of how busy and when I checked out and went to grab a fork, they were out. So I kindly asked another employee if he could get some more or whatever, he told me no and that I would need to jump back into another slow moving line to ask customer service for a fork. I left and on my way out I threw my $13 lunch in the trash because at this point it was cold already and I still had no fork. Horrible customer service. Not one employee had any sense of urgency. Won’t return to this location again.
