My 3 year old daughter was crying and screaming because she had to go to the bathroom so bad telling me that it hurt and the 2 women would not let her use their bathroom. They'd rather stand there and watch a 3-year-old scream because her bladder hurt so bad men to just let her use the bathroom. I find that to be completely unacceptable.

Consistently bad service but not a surprise because it’s a never ending revolving door of bad employees who don’t care about the customer, the appearance or cleanliness of the store. I guess it’s the mentality of just have the cheapest product and hope people come back because of that.. Also, I keep putting this as a five star review and it keeps posting us a one star review. If it doesn’t update in a day or two I’ll take it down because I don’t wanna hurt the stores rating.

No one ever works in this place and the manager was nasty to me, after telling me she was too busy to ring me up. Horrible service, don't waste your time going to this dollar general when there's like 20 others in the same area that are much better

So I’ve been going to this store for a few years now, before the new manager took over the store was in a word revolting, but when the new manager took over her, along with her newer staff have made this store go in a completely different direction. The customer service is amazing and the staff is the best I’ve seen so far!

It was my first time shopping at this location, I checked out, left the yellow basket where I thought it should go, as I was leaving from 20feet away the lady manager started screaming at me that I should come back and put the basket where she thought I should have put the basket right in front of other Customers. Rudest Customer service ever . I am just a customer who's has his mind on his mother just getting out of hospital after 3 weeks in ICU but I'm the problem. I honestly place the basket in the most convenient area. This lady shouldn't even deal with customers.Worst Manager Ever!!!!!!!! Karma ×7

The new manager at the Exeter Dollar General is great! She cleaned up the store, had all the boxes of store merchandise that were not emptied and piled up all over the aisles of the store for a long time as such that you couldn't get thru the aisles, stocked all the shelves that were empty because the merchandise was in those boxes. AND for the first time EVER she had a Christmas decoration put up on the doors of the entrance to the store. Until then, there was no decorating of the store for Christmas and Halloween and other holidays. This was the first manager ever to care about the store's appearance. Today is 11/8/21, so that you know which manager it is. Job well done!!!

This store is absolutely horrible. I ran in and got generic flonase for my daughter that should have been $7.50 especially since its dollar general brand. Rang up as $13.50 and all they say is the prices need to be updated, they are all wrong on the racks. This has happened several times now at this store. Either get then corrected or refunds are necessary

Wow, best way to say so, this place was a dump, "was" and now is "it is" a real store, clean, pleasant and new staff and manager are amazing. Local biz with a huge turnaround, highly recommend going there now. "It is" a good store and pleasant finally. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆+++++
