Customer Service, specifically Mary Lou is rude and enjoys raising her voice to customers. I was looking for a local bank for my $ but it certainly will not be with M&T. I’ll keep my $ in a coffee can under my bed first!

Never heard of a bank charging people a fee to cash a check that is drawn off of their own bank. Well that was until today here. Then to top it off it was 2% of the check. I'm sure they charge their customers a monthly fee for the accounts as well so they are making out in this case. And also, they never offered me to even open an account which possibly could've saved me money. But, I have accounts elsewhere and was by their bank and didn't have time today to go to mine. But, I could've when I sat in their drive thru for almost 15 minutes to have someone pull up in next lane after me and get serviced by the person already helping me and leave before me. Guess if you're their customer you get priority? Oh well I wouldn't suggest them on customer service that's for sure.

My ideal location where there is ample parking and its easy to get out as there's a light right at the corner of the bank. Great combo especially for during business hours when its incredibly busy traffic wise. Tellers are typically extremely fast when it comes to banking and quite friendly.
