Rite Aid has gone downhill. Today I spent over 30 minutes on the phone trying to get someone to pick up in the pharmacy! After calling the main retail line, was told the pharmacy is closed because the pharmacist didn't show up.
How does a business not consider coverage for such events? Also, I would not have wasted my valuable time waiting if a message alerted callers that the pharmacy is closed.
Considering this and the long lines at the store and/or drive thru, I will take my business elsewhere going forward.
My suggestion to Rite Aid would be to invest in your employees.

This store's pharmacy does not close at 7:00 p.m. When I got there tonight, it said 6:00 p.m. but was already closed at 5:56.

What happened to this particular Rite Aid? When I first moved to Pittston it was an Excard and was always full stocked. Even when Rite Aid bought out Excard years ago it was still fully stocked. Went in today for the first time in years after moving back to the area and the shelves just look bare. Example they have two foot of shelve space for Frosted Flakes and they had 4 boxes side by side and those were the only boxes on the shelf. No other boxes behind them. It is pretty much like that throughout the store. Looks like a going out of business sale even though they aren't going out of business. Overall the store is just depressing. I guess with the Walgreens across the street closed up they might get more business. Either way they are the only pharmacy left in this part of Pittston.

You have to call this place like 5 times before you get someone on the phone. Why have a phone if you’re not going to use it ?. I tried calling in because I had a question about my prescription and it took several tries before I actually got someone on the phone.

I've been going here for yrs, but last few months wasn't so nice here, all this newer generation is there now. Last nite i.was put on a new medicine. So I was asking questions about it . She started shaking her head and looked irritated for asking. I'm gonna find another place to go .nothing but arrogance anymore .

I was in today to pickup my prescription. There is a young woman named Mary who work's in the pharmacy. She is an angel. She was so sweet and had everything ready in no time at all. I absolutely recommend this store/pharmacy to anyone in the area. 10 out of 10 best experience I've ever had at any Rite Aid. Thank you again for everything.

Because this area has been so heavily affected by drug addiction. This location does not have a public restroom. They should just have a sign on the door.

The manager is a complete inconsiderate human being !! My lady time is happening and I was in urgent need to use the bathroom ! She look at me and said they are closed to the public because of COVID 19 ! Mind you as she walked through the store unmasked! Never EVER WILL I GO BACK!!!! As I purchased tampons!!
