“One of the best mechanic shops I have ever worked with. They want (and do) the best for their customers. The repairs are quality and the prices are reasonable.I took my 2007 Honda CR-V for tie rod & sway bar replacement. The gentleman did the repairs and then informed me about a couple of others that were necessary. He even went forward and did repairs that he thought would be good and only charged me for parts for those repairs. What’s more, I had to pickup my car for a couple of days while we were waiting on other parts (after most of the repairs done) and he didn’t want me pay for repairs that were already done. It made me feel really good seeing that trust is not a thing of past. The lady in the office was also very courteous. Not surprisingly they are very busy and you need to make an appointment in advance.Hands down the best mechanic experience for me. I highly recommend Harry’s to anyone in the area and State College.”
“The best experience with Auto Service (Thanks to Jared)Honest story from an international student:My plan was to travel back home in 4 days. Unfortunately, I was experiencing an oil leak in my car. I thought the problem was with the valve cover gasket. Auto repairs usually charge $400-$500 for this repair, but not this Auto Repair. I went to this place because of the better price. Jared, who works here, was not sure whether it was a problem with the valve cover gasket. He took a look at my engine and said that there was no leak from the engine. He found out that the problem was with the oil cap. I thought that I had to fix that part then ($250-$350). However, Jared told me that I didn't have to do it now. Moreover, he told me that I could change it within a year. I was surprised by his honesty. Not only did he not charge me anything, but he also refused to take any penny from me. He was honest with me and that is something I really love in people. It took me only 16 min to drive there and Jared saved my day. Thank you very much.
