“Truly a one stop shop for all your fitness/ wellness needs! I mainly go for the vitamins but my favorite thing about going in is chatting up Vinny and getting his insight on my current plan! Never once have I felt like he’s pushed sales on me which I so appreciate. Not only is Vinny fantastic and passionate about his supplements but I love also being able to support a local small business. If you get a chance would 100% stop at faze up the next time you need a restock.”
“Place is amazing and so is the owner. Love her! Over the years she has become a trusted person for all my needs. If I ask her to get something, she does. I go out of my way to go there because it's like shopping with a friend who knows the market. I also like that she is a compassionate supporter of women empowerment and woman owned businesses. But as a man, and while the vibe is definitely upscale chic, the atmosphere is warm and caring. Generally most of her staff operate in the same way. A must stop in Pittsburgh. “I have been a customer at Murray Avenue Apothecary for 11 years. I first came to this shop in 2015 when my iron levels were very low. Susan the owner gave me natural iron to be taken with Vitamin C to help it absorb quickly and efficiently into the bloodstream. Before long my levels came up and I had my stamina and energy back better than ever. In the past 6 months I had a need for iron to boost up my levels and the liquid liposomal iron I purchased here raised my levels once again very quickly. In the past two months I was having problems with acid reflux and Susan the owner provided me with a protocol that has absolutely worked wonders. I would highly recommend using Murray Avenue Apothecary for any health issues that need addressed. Susan is very knowledgeable and Trish the receptionist is knowledgeable about the products and very pleasant and friendly. “I have recently discovered that I'm allergic to CORN and CORN derivatives and CORN Cross contamination everything. I can't take a drive through the countryside in August because of the corn. John the owner was extremely helpful in finding a shampoo for me that met those ridiculous requirements, and guess what? I found one and I didn't react to it!!!
If you suffer from this type of annoying and life altering allergy or sensitivity to whatever, you know how exciting it is to find a new product or food that you can use or eat, let alone a person to help you find products.
It means a lot these days to be able to go up to a counter, and not only have the person behind it actually try to help you out and look stuff up for you, but to also have that person understand completely the ins and outs of what to look for (glycerin, baking soda, citric acid is all made from CORN?! Yep, he already knew).
I travel for work and plan to stop here each time I'm in the area to stock up on necessities and especially shampoo. The prices are fair but the advice is priceless. These specialized diets SEEM expensive if compared to the non-gluten free products - but how much money are we saving in other areas by not being able to buy snickers bars, cheetos, eating out at restaurants, etc? And aren't we that much more healthy for it anyways? Thanks for the help John!”

Several areas of the store had been reset and were much more visually appealing, especially in the large produce department. Everything there seemed really fresh (which I didn't use to think was true), and the store as a whole struck me as clean and well stocked. I even had two store workers approach me to offer help which was a nice surprise.”
