“Great box with amazing coaches. The place is really good with all the equipment you can ask for in a Crossfit gym along with caring owners in Jamie and Adam. I always make it a point to drop in whenever I am in town.”

“Best workouts I’ve ever done!

Every workout is scalable, so whether you’re a seasoned athlete or completely new to this style of training, you’ll feel right at home. As someone who walked in with very little experience, the coaches immediately made me feel comfortable, welcomed, and supported.

The owner brings incredible energy, the coaching staff is genuinely kind and encouraging, and they’re always watching to make sure your form is safe and correct. Special shoutout to Corey, his workout programming is absolutely wild in the best way. No two workouts ever feel the same, so it’s impossible to get bored.

The best part? Every workout is as challenging as you choose to make it, and the results speak for themselves.

This isn’t just a great gym, it’s an incredible community. They don’t just tolerate diversity; they genuinely celebrate it. Everyone belongs here, and you can feel that from the moment you walk through the door.

Iconic gym. Iconic people. Couldn’t recommend it more.”

“If you are looking for a place that is more than just workout equipment, come here. The trainers are excellent and very encouraging. The environment is very relaxed. They offer personal training sessions as well as classes and independence. I have been working out here for about 3-4 months and this feels like a second home to me. It can be costly but it is worth the investment. You will absolutely not be disappointed.

Tedesco also does fun little scavenger hunts or challenges like this. I love to do these and always have such determination to get them done. Not only that but it’s gets you going new places and doing new things you wouldn’t have previously. I truly love this gym!”

“Really great experience! Appears to be primarily female lead which my daughter is super receptive to. Great instructors all around. Extremely reasonable pricing and convenient class schedule. Intro class was 1 on 1 which eased all our unfamiliar minds. The little ninjas group (4-6 year olds) is a lot of skill focused games to keep them interested. Sibling discounts available.

Started showing them self defense. Really hard to watch and think about a 4 yo needing that but so important. Demonstrated it in a very safe manner. Taught when it was appropriate to use.

Highly recommend”

““I was on the edge of diabetes. Today, I am sixty pounds lighter and healthier than ever.
Alina is truly the best trainer I have ever worked with. After years of trying without success, I finally achieved my goal and lost sixty pounds in just eight months in a healthy and sustainable way. She never put me on fad or restrictive diets. Instead, she taught me how to eat in a way that fits my life. I regained my energy, and all of my health numbers returned to the normal range.
Her workouts are creative, motivating, and genuinely enjoyable. I truly look forward to them.
Working with Alina did more than change my body. It changed my life.””

“I really love the atmosphere and community of this gym! I've been a gym rat for about 13 years now and have been a memeber at several different chains and mom-and-pop shops; this gym is more old school style with older, but fully functional, equipment.

The gym is super clean, well put together with a friendly and professional staff. I love having the option to use the hydro massage and other amenities if I choose.

If you're looking for a super modern gym with all the bells and whistles, this probably isn't the best fit for you. But if you're looking to get in a great workout with a great selection of free weights and plate loaded option, this is a great gym.

I also love the class schedule availablity. I don't utilize it, personally, but there's a lot of options for older members as well to come in and stay active.”

“Excellent gymn always open. Shower room is a bit cramped for showering & changing but many lockers are available outside of the locker area. Very clean & large variety of equipment.
The building was formerly a church & is cavernas. The music is a bit loud for my taste but the internet is strong so headphones give you the option of listening to whatever best suite you.
Recently an addition was opened which houses day camp for children & other activities. Family friendly.”

“Burn has been great so far after doing the free trial with my wife. I’m about 2.5 weeks in, and all of the trainers are so helpful and it’s very welcoming. It has a community like atmosphere to keep you motivated. I had a focus meeting with Miranda and she was extremely helpful with making goals for me. Also, the InBody machine is a game changer, shows you your body fat, muscle mass, etc. You get so much more out of a gym like this vs others in the area, no comparison. Also, they have an amazing child watch area, the staff in there are so nice. Our kids look forward to going. We will be going there a very long time!”

“This facility has become a second home to me, given the extensive range of equipment I sought. I typically support local or small businesses, and I am pleased to have discovered this small gym. The owner is proficient in sign language, which is advantageous for my communication needs. Also, there is a highly skilled trainer who consistently provides motivation.”

“My buddy invited me to drop in at CrossFit Tantrum while I was near Pittsburgh, and the experience absolutely did not disappoint. From the start, the vibe was welcoming and laid-back in the best way. I jumped into open gym and got to throw down with some truly amazing humans—people who work hard, encourage each other, and clearly love what they do.

The atmosphere struck a great balance between intensity and community. Everyone was locked in, getting after it, but still taking the time to connect, joke around, and make a drop-in feel like part of the crew. That kind of culture doesn’t happen by accident—it’s built intentionally, and it shows.

If you’re in the Pittsburgh area and looking for a gym with strong energy, good people, and a place where effort and camaraderie go hand in hand, CrossFit Tantrum is absolutely worth the visit.”

“For over a decade, my life was dictated by lower back pain. Like many, I found temporary relief through chiropractic adjustments, experiencing a few pain-free weeks before inevitably finding myself back on the table. This cycle was exhausting. I knew there had to be a more sustainable solution, a way to break free from this constant reliance on quick fixes.
My journey towards true relief led me to physical therapy, where the focus shifted to strengthening my weakened back. This proved to be a pivotal step, addressing the root cause of my discomfort. Upon completing my physical therapy program, I was strongly recommended to continue my progress with a personal trainer at Anytime Fitness. Hesitant but hopeful, I decided to give it a try.
Over a year later, the results speak for themselves. Working with the dedicated trainers at Anytime Fitness has been nothing short of transformative. My back is stronger than it has been in years, and more importantly, I am completely pain-free. This isn't just about alleviating discomfort; it's about reclaiming my life. I can now tackle household chores with ease and, most joyfully, engage in more active play with my grandchildren without the constant fear of pain holding me back.
I am incredibly grateful for the expertise and encouragement I've received. A special thank you to Laura, Garrett, and the entire staff at Anytime Fitness. Your commitment to my well-being has made a profound difference, and I wholeheartedly recommend your services to anyone seeking to overcome chronic pain and build lasting strength and health. This is not just a gym; it's a place where real, sustainable change happens..”

“Been going on and off for a few years. Owner actively maintains, lifts, as well as engages with the crowd. Most of the crowd is very helpful with questions about uncertainty. plenty of dumbbells upstairs and downstairs. Many Machines to work as much of your body as possible. There’s also classes available to those who want it. Plenty of room to lift. even at the peak hours. Sirius xm radio and TV.Make sure to close the blinds, turn the music off and most importantly, keep your shirt down.”

“I'm a member; I have been for 3+ years. This gym has every thing you need to get in shape for the first time or stay in shape if you're already an experienced trainee. The premises is very safe & well maintained with more than adequate parking.

The club itself is clean with very clean bathrooms; equipment is very well maintained in terms of both functionality & cleanliness.

They offer cardio equipment such as 6 treadmills, and 6 elliptical exercise machines.

As for weight lifting equipment, they offer dumbbells from 5-100 pounds, as well as resistance bands of all resistance levels for all trainees.

Snap Fitness also offers a a bench press, an incline bench press, a Smith machine (which can be used to perform virtually any type of exercise), and a decline bench press, among other equipment available on site. These items are all very popular.

The gym also offers many machines that simulate all types of weight lifting exercises.

The gym's manager offers limited group fitness classes. He is very knowledgeable about matters of fitness; in addition, he is quite the pleasant conversationalist. I've always known him to very helpful, patient and gentle with beginners; however if you are an advanced trainee who needs someone to push you, he can do that also. I'm sure Todd would love for you to join his group class.

Most people are too busy working out to even notice you anyway. There is no 'gym intimidation' or judgement; It's just not that type of environment.

Members run the whole range of shapes and sizes. It really doesn't matter what you look like as long as you have a nice attitude and go there to work out, no one will ever have a cross word or a nasty look for you.

It is a very comforting environment. in fact, I had my mother join a few months back she is in her mid 60s and not in good shape. She had never actually worked out in her life. She just went in to the gym and started her workouts very light, such as walking on the treadmill at 2.0 miles an hour for only 10 minutes, and nobody looked or said anything. She had said previously that she was intimidated to go there because everyone would be in better shape than her, as well as younger; well she quickly found out was not true. Within 2 or 3 visits, she felt totally comfortable there; and she goes every day ?.

All ages are happily welcomed & accepted! Just this morning, I worked out alongside a woman in her 70s, 2 others likely in their 60s, several gentlemen in their 50s, & a man in his late 30s. Other times, I find myself working out with high school or college students, as well as young professionals. I'm 40 and have a very wide cross-section of friends at the gym.

The gym is never crowded; I often go at various times of day or when is convenient, but never at a set time. And I have noticed the least crowded times are about 1 pm or
4 pm. At those times, you are highly likely to be alone, or have 1-2 others sharing the facilities with you.

The most crowded times are 11 am or 6-6:30 pm. Even then, you are likely to be sharing the gym with possibly as many as 12-15 other trainees. And the gym is capable of comfortably accommodating about 30 trainees. Crowding is never an issue.

The fact that the gym is open 24 hours/day prevents a big log jam at typically busy times. You can go easily at 5 or 6 pm when most people are rushing to 'hurry up and wait' at their gym, and have a great workout at your gym, not being hurried along, waiting for equipment, & generally having an unpleasant experience.

I've never had to wait more a minute to use equipment. People will let you 'work in' with them. Sharing is the norm.”

“Most people say that when you are older, you become invisible. That is not the case at OTF. The coaches and staff members are very welcoming, personable, and encouraging. The coaches never hesitate to correct your form when needed or help you adjust an exercise based on a personal limitation. OTF is a challenging workout but the only one you are competing with is yourself. Thanks Monroeville OTF, you are awesome!!”

“Leap fitness is one of the best gym in this area. I have been going to leap for a long time now and the owner josh is always making it a bigger and better place. The gym is always kept clean and very organized. It’s a 3 story gym and everything is seperated for what you are there to do from free weights down stairs to cardio and more machines on the main floor to the ultimate spin studio on the 3rd floor. I highly recommend going to leap fitness center and the owner is very knowledgeable and will help you out with anything you need.”
