“Miranda put together a magical and unforgettable evening for my wedding. As someone whose biggest event planned was a birthday party, Miranda worked with me throughout the months to help me figure out what I was missing and what I wanted. When we met up in person, she could tell we wanted something different and she accommodated. Miranda ensured we kept our desired date and showed us a gorgeous partner venue that showed elegance and grandeur. For the actual day, she knew how much I wanted an outdoor ceremony and tried to make it work and waited as last minute as she could to see if we could achieve that. Unfortunately, it did end up raining; however, Miranda created an indoor experience where none of my guests even knew what they were missing outside on the beautiful grounds. Her husband was great support and helped with setting up, creating a great atmosphere, and providing drinks for our guests. Her and her team did an amazing job and kept touching base with me and ensuring I was happy with the order of events while making sure I was eating and drinking enough. Overall, Miranda was flexible and communicative with me. I would not change a thing about my experience (except maybe the rainy weather).”

“Unfortunately due to random bad luck the room we booked was flooded the day we were to arrive. Carolyn is a true blessing and not only provided us with new accommodations elsewhere, she made sure we wouldn't be charged more, that we still had all the amenities of the Mountaintop Lodge, and most importantly that the new place was wheelchair friendly for me! She went above and beyond.The breakfast each morning was delicious, there is nothing else to say about it. We tried a variety of things and it was all extremely yummy!Donna was also extremely wonderful. The third day of our stay she had a birthday card on the table for me with the sweetest message and set our table up so we could eat with a gorgeous view of the trees! Truth be told, every lady working there was delightful, I just didn't catch anyone's names other than Donna and Carolyn!Lastly, the decor, scenery, and location were wonderful. The whole place was so rustic and cozy. It felt like a place where things were a little slower, a little more simple, and a lot less hectic. The perfect place to sit outside and enjoy a coffee. Before we left we got to peek at one of the rooms that was similar but a little smaller than the room we were supposed to have and all I can say is that we can't wait to come back and actually stay!”

“First time here for a wedding event. The grounds were breath taking and well manicured. Nestled in the Pocono's.The venue inside was well maintained, clean and beautiful as well as the bathrooms and outside patio's.Cocktail hour seemed to go by very quickly, but there were plenty of appetizers of coconut shrimp, mini Philly cheesesteaks, cheeses, meats, fruits and more as well as ice cold beer, soda, cocktails and wine.The group at our table had the Chicken, Salmon and Beef dishes along with the vegetables of potatoes and asparagas. There wasn't any complaints and everyone truly must of enjoyed there dishes by the looks of it since they were pretty clean at the end. My steak was prepared beautifully and cooked to a medium rare perfection. It had me wanting more.All in all it was a great place for a wedding. We truly enjoyed ourselves.”

“We went to Desaki for the first time for my daughters birthday. It is very similar to other hibachi restaurants. The staff (especially our waiter and one of the chefs) were very friendly and made the evening fun. There was a ton of food. The food itself was decent. The seasoning on the meat was different than I have had before but it was pleasant. They don’t serve dessert so if you want to celebrate a birthday you need to buy the “birthday package “ for $30 which consists of the staff signing to you and ringing a gong and then serving a $5 semi frozen cake from the supermarket that is really pretty bad. It seemed like bringing your own cake was an option. Really wish we had done that esp since the package seems like such a rip off. One nice thing they offered was a free pic of your group at the table . Without the friendly waiter and the funny chef. the night wouldn’t have been much fun.”

“Hello. My boyfriend and I stayed over on 1/20 to 1/21. We went to the dining room for dinner. There were some tables that were taken and a few people at the bar. Courtney was the only one working, taking bar drink orders and waitressing all by herself. She did a fantastic job keeping everyone happy. She was doing everything...taking orders and bringing the food out. My heart went out to her. More people coming in, yet she stayed calm. If I was allowed to, I would have gotten a bin and cleaned the tables off. The manager needs to hire more people on a Saturday night to beore efficient. So kudos to Courtney for doing an amazing job!!! Cathy”

“Had lunch at Pocono Manor Golf Club today after golf. My husband & I had the turkey club , it was delicious. Our other two partners had a cheeseburger and fries & sausage & peppers sandwich. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their lunches. I got to try the fries, cooked & seasoned perfectly. (Steak cut). I would highly recommend stopping in for lunch.”
