Stagers Store is a Mom and Pop type store that has a bit of everything from groceries to paint, hardware, automotive supplies and some clothing.
It has a local small town feel to it....as it should being that it is located in a small town.
I shop there several times a year, living nearby and find it worthwhile.
Nice to see a Mom and Pop business doing well in these days of large department store chains.

Got a pie that was old as hell , not soft, hard as a rock! Disgusting will go to Walmart from now on. Had high hopes for stagers too , will not go back. Don’t waste your money here was triple the price of Walmart. DO NOT GO HERE. NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!

Small Business in Portage Pa. A great place to buy food. Better prices then shop n save has to offer. If you hate giving money to greedy soulless super stores. And support small and family owned businesses. Then this is the place to go. Family owned and operated since its founding. Stagers is a pretty big store. With alot of local options to support other small businesses. I Remember going at old location by junk yard as a child. Our favorite local store for groceries.

Very nice busy store. Many bargains. No prices in the deli. They had signs saying switching to a new electronic system but had no signs anywhere letting customers know what items cost. Heck many stores just have prices in the deli counter on the meat/cheeses.
