EDIT: pathetic when the chairman of the board of a charity comes in here making false accusations about people and claiming they have footage of instances that simply do not exist. do not support this business.
absolutely awful experience. i’m the sure the owner will come in here acting like she’s innocent and in the right but unfortunately that’s not the case. My boyfriend showed up to surprise me after the ticket sales were over. We had no idea there was a cut off and wasn’t sure if it was a big deal. workers came over and were a bit abrupt about how he needed a ticket. he went up to go buy one after they made an exception for him. i turned to a member of my party and made an off handed comment about it being kinda silly. the “owner” apparently decided to insert herself into my conversation and was extremely rude to us and continued to instigate and create an argument. I do not care where i’m at, you will not talk to me like that. She threatened to have police escort us out … for making a comment about a rule. Clearly lady was having a bad day and wanted to take it out on us. many other places to play bingo thankfully!!!

Edit*** the response regarding we are trying to “win money without paying” is a joke! That wasn’t the issue at all. The issue was the worker being ignorant and butting in a private conversation where a person in out party said it was a silly rule. So if you’re gonna respond with complete lies, that tells you exactly how the charity handles their money. You have tons of negative reviews based on your workers. But nice try trying to spin it around into something it absolutely was not.
If I could give 0 stars I would. First time at this bingo hall and treated rudely by workers. Strange all the friends of the workers seem to get bingo. Then a person in my party said to me privately that they thought one of their “rules” were dumb. And the woman (who claimed to be the owner of the entire bingo hall and its existence) rudely walked over to them and say loudly “what did you say?” And they stated they thought it was a dumb rule. And then the person in my party said, “wait why are you all up in my conversation?” And the ignorant vile woman went off on how dare we. I’m sorry, can anyone not have an opinion. And after a brief exchange of words she told us to leave. Acted like she was going to call the police. I stated if you refund us (because we may have been on game 5 out of 100). She had this whole attitude and stormed to the front. I’m sorry but 1. You aren’t the owner. Maybe manager but owner… I hope not because you were rude and ignorant and I did research and the pictures of the 3 chairs came up and you aren’t one of them. You can respond with your usual blah blah but the fact is as you have to be the nosiest and rudest “owner” ever. Again find it odd how all their friends win bingo because as soon as anyone called out bi go then would know their name. And 100% proceeds do NOT go to transplants. I researched this “charity” and found out the truth. Disgraceful.

My husband and I love this bingo hall. We had a great time last night, our second visit. Super nice staff and helpful people. We are Bingo newbies and had to ask a lot of questions to some of the more veteran players seated next to us. Most people super welcoming and awesome. Great cause.

What can I say?!? 5 Stars is not enough!! This bingo hall is a GREAT time, with such a fun crowd!! It’s not often you go to a bingo hall where everyone roots for one another, helps a newbie in need and is just friendly in general! As for the staff they are the ABSOLUTE BEST; very friendly!! Everyone just makes you feel so welcomed!! The payouts are phenomenal and who can forget the tickets?! Pull tabs are my number 1 addiction and this hall does not disappoint!!! It’s always a good time at Transplant Alliance Bingo (State Street) even when you don’t win because you know the money is going to help save a life!!! Just stop by and see for yourself!! I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!

First time at this bingo hall this past Sunday and have never been to a place that I was treated as poorly as this one! Rude customers and rude workers! One young man who worked gave my significant other the finger, and was still allowed to work after that! I’m sorry but that type of behavior he shouldn’t have been able to complete his shift! Will never go back and will not recommend to others! Funny this organization states that an announcement was made but the people next to us stated they didn’t know papers could not be passed either! And your volunteer did in fact give him the finger and the gentleman in the cap addressed it immediately!

The young guy who was working the tables was rude and offensive. He can and took the bingo card off the table. And then he came back staring smugly and gave my son the finger. He should not be allowed customer contact

I recently came here with family for a good time on a Saturday evening. We paid online, and got to the doors before they opened. Overall, I was happy, in the beginning. The place is very big, clean, organized and they have their own little kitchen to serve their customers. The food was not bad either and the prices were reasonable. I found it to be a bit aggravating and disappointing because even though there were over 100 people there playing Bingo, it seemed like the "same" regulars win over and over. I had a bigger issue than that though.. One of the regulars was rude, obnoxious and basically acting like a fool the entire time. We could tell that they was there often, since everyone called them by their name.. Their behavior just made it more difficult to focus and concentrate. Some other people who sat by us that we did not know said to us that they were starting to get fed up with the obnoxious behavior. Aside from that, we enjoyed ourselves because the funds were going to a great cause. We wish that the behavior of some of the "regulars" would have been more age appropriate for them, and I wish more people would have been able to win. Driving almost an hour away, spending over $250 on the games and many extras and food, and getting to deal with that was ridiculous. We won't be back because of that fact that some people can't act right, and nobody who worked there made any statement to them... So it continued the entire time. Hopefully people who continue to go, can shape up and act like an adult. That way people can play Bingo and concentrate, especially since their spending.
