Approximately 6 weeks ago, I leased a new vehicle and was given some very bad information that my organizational vanity registration could not be transferred to my new vehicle. The registration was still valid on an existing leased vehicle, but it was scheduled to be returned to the leasing company within two days after I got the new vehicle. I had transferred this registration two other times, before surrendering the old vehicle without any problem. It seems the dealer employee was just lazy and wanted to charge me for new registration.
I was referred to J & M Instant Auto Tags and Insurance by friends. It had been years since I needed Pa. registration services from an auto tag business. Although it was not easy, owner Margaret Flynn eventually, after some very professional experience and the hounding of a PENDOTT employee, was able to correctly get the vanity registration out of the leasing company’s name and into my name. If Margaret had not done this service with PENNDOT on my behalf, I may not have been able to use my organizational vanity registration on my next vehicle.
J & M Instant Auto Tags and Insurance is a 5-star business. The care and effort Margaret took for this first-time customer represents a quality not seen much today in customer service. I wish Margaret continuing success and business growth!

Margaret and her staff went above and beyond to help a difficult situation, even staying after hours (on a Saturday!) to get the job done. Candy, dogs, model cars, and knowledgeable staff - not sure what more you could ask for!

I dropped by J&M Instant Auto Tags for help with transferring an old license plate to a recently purchased car. Upon entering the storefront, I spoke to three people explaining that the car was purchased out of state and that we, (the dealership where the car was purchased and I) were getting the run around from PENNDOT. I explained that fees were already sent to PENNDOT along with a packet of paperwork that I provided to one of the people at the counter. The frustration started immediately from one of the staff. It grew the more I tried to explain the situation. Needless to say, I didn't get help and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
