I love Advanced Auto. I order online and pick up at store . Usually get a discount . I'm disabled and they will bring it out to me which is very helpful.

Bought a battery here 2 years ago for over $200 with a 3 year warranty. It's faulty, not holding charge, and they can't find any proof that I made the purchase. I remember the month but not the specific date/time, their system is extremely difficult to lookup previous orders. Guy behind the counter did not want to help me as I was interrupting something he was doing on his cell phone. After an hour I ask if there is anything I can do or they can do for me, they say no, and that I need to look at my bank account and provide proof that way. I sifted through 3 years of bank statements and I can't find the specific transaction. I might have even paid cash for it. Point being, they naively pick the online orders and do not care if you are in the system or not. If you don't remember the e-mail that you used to place the order then you are out of luck for warranty claims. I probably had used a guest checkout to save $20 on the outrageously priced junk battery they sold me, and did not print out all the invoices and etc. for it to have documentation.I was so mad about the whole ordeal that I refuse to buy anything more from here unless I am in an absolute pinch. I went to Walmart and got a battery with a 3 year warranty for literally $80 less than Advance was trying to sell me. I installed it myself, I don't care, I'm not paying Advance Auto $80 extra for 15 minutes of work, that's more than a surgeon gets paid. This store literally rips you off and when you buy products that claim to have multi year warranties, they don't track it other than by your name/e-mail...but only sometimes!At no time during this entire situation was I offered a coupon or something to get a new battery from Advance, they just couldn't help! So, I went elsewhere, and I feel much better. Walmart actually tracks their battery warranties by serial number, maybe other businesses should do the same thing, if they have any interest in keeping their customers happy, but maybe they just want that extra cash instead. That's fine, customers like the extra cash too and this place has insane markups on almost everything. This battery was literally 60% more expensive at Advance, and trust me, these DieHard or Autocraft batteries have not been a good experience for me - 2 years maximum life in a variety of vehicles. I don't care if they are junk, but at least bring down the price.I checked and Interstate batteries are $10 less than the outrageous prices of Advance Auto, and they are actually built to last. I personally have witnessed these batteries go through entire winters dead, get charged back up, go dead another 10-20 times due to neglect and work no problem for another 5 years. So, if you are looking for a very GOOD battery, just keep that in mind...cheaper, and better quality...why would you choose the opposite...? Mysterious...

Sam was a tremendous help!!! He helped with testing and replacing our battery. Tested and found the alternator was bad. Suggested a respectable mechanic to replace our alternator. He had a big part with making sure me and my family were able to continue our trip through to Eerie. Great customer service skills. Had all I needed in stock. Thank you Sam!!! God bless

Friendly and courteous staff at this store. Some of the prices are getting to be way too High on some items. Make sure you know what other stores are charging. For example : a chevrolet pickup spare tire hoist. $215.00 here. $105 at Napa. $75.00 ( with Shipping) at rockauto online. Many other items are priced this way.

VERY expensive. Minimal coupons. Going to rock auto and really happy now with the prices and service offered. There are other sources for auto parts too. If I don't need a part in a pinch, I avoid going here.Ordered parts from here about a year ago, I get a random call from a guy. He says he has my parts. I ask him for his address - here the parts were delivered about 20 miles away from my home. I called Advance Auto about this and they said it was due to me using PayPal and their system cutting off part of the address. Never had this issue with any other place.It used to be an OK experience but now the folks behind the counter know nothing and there's usually one person running the entire store. They are stressed, I am stressed, and the costs are generally outrageous. I can't see them sustaining this store for a lot longer. $100 for a $30 rotor is one example. Give me a break. Jack the prices up for coupon use but newsflash - your coupons don't exist! Where's the $40 off $100 deal that I always used in the past?No worries, I have moved on from this place. If I know the part I need, or even if I don't, I look it up and BUY IT. Useless!

As I was waiting for my turn a young lady was waiting on a gentleman (she seemed very Knowledgeable 5 stars to her) a male employee About looking upover talking her and being very rude towards her. She looked at the male employee and said I was looking up what the customer wanted that's what we're supposed to do And his reply was You're telling me you're telling me what to do he was very loud and rude to her as he started to wait on the generalman himself He is a male chauvinist Pig In my opinion and should not be working in the public Not a place I will go back to!! I have the his name wish I could email this to you

This is thee worst Advance Auto I've been in. Nobody knows anything. Nor do they want to know anything or do anything. One employee loudly made a comment of refusing to help anyone in the store and on the phone. That , that's the pleasure of getting to work here. He even answered the phone saying , to the customer , nope. Nobody is available to help you right now. When he could have helped because he wasn't doing anything or helping anyone. This would definitely severly upset me if I was the manager. And corporate. Laziness and ignorance.
