Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. All of the creature comforts plus a bar, hot breakfast and polite staff.

I appreciate the stay especially when it was a last minute reservation. The room was very clean and the staff was very customer friendly. I definitely would stay again. It was walking distance to stores and restaurants which was very nice.

I've stayed here several times and this was the worst time ever, my room had no shower curtain and the girl at the front desk was not very polite, I prefer staying here but wasn't very happy this stay .

Great hotel. We had a clean room and it was quiet and super close to stores, the downtown area, etc. The bar at the front counter is fantastic. Reasonably priced and unexpected. Super nice checkin person too. Very welcoming. There is no hot tub as shown in the pictures. It’s been covered and has a table on it so that was a bummer. We were looking forward to it. Breakfast lady in the morning could use some sunshine attitude. Coffee was constantly empty and when I asked if there was more, she said yes it was ready. I watched her go to the coffee maker and she said she was going to go ahead and start to make a new pot. This included washing out the pot and starting a new brew. That was pot #2. She then took the other pot, pot #1 and that’s when I realized that #1 was full of fresh coffee. I had been standing at the counter the entire time and instead of bringing the fresh pot #1 out and then going back to make pot #2, she did it while I stood there, probably for a good 5 minutes waiting. This was pretty much what we dealt with yesterday morning too. Don’t quite understand why she did this. Whatever. The rest of the stay was excellent!

Date of visit Sat Aug 23, 2023If you are on a roguetrip to punxsutawney, and you want a cozy place to stay, the Cobblestone inn is your place. This charming little inn is located just on the edge of town, making it a very convenient location for shopping/dining, but also out of the way so its quiet and coomgortable. The staff was very froendly, helpful, and efficient. She had everything organizedband ready for our check in, making our check in process very smooth. She had already taken care of our special request - extra pillows and towels were already waiting in our room. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. The beds were very comfortable, sheets crisp and fresh, and pillows verry fluffy. This made for a good nights sleep. There were no 'room visitors' and no odours or musty smells in the hotel. Very fresh and clean throughout. The hotel has a nice pool, and Exercise room which shares space with laundry, and there was only room for a treadmill and a bike, and some weights.Good (free) wifi and ample onsite free parking.Complimentary Breakfast in the main room consisted of sausages in sauce, scrambled eggs, breads, coffee & tea, and a few other items. We slept so well, we woke up a little late so it was only the tail end of breakfast remaining, so unfortunately we had to pass on breakfast.Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and convenience. If you come to punxsutawney, cobbledtone inn is a great place to stay as you go Groundhog hunting.

If I could give this hotel a zero I would. This is my first review EVER written. I stayed here for my Grandfather's funeral. Upon arrival, the entire hotel staff was standing outside smoking and we had to bother them to check us in. I booked 2 nights with this hotel. On my second day, I got a voicemail at 2pm while at my Grandpa's funeral saying that I had only reserved 1 night, they were overbooked and that they needed to clean the room so they packed my things up (without my permission or any warning prior to doing so!) I immediately left the funeral to retrieve my things, worried about expensive products I had. When I arrived, my stuff was thrown on the dirty floor in trash bags. After I got my things I brought them to my brother's room where I now had to stay. Things went from bad to worse when I went to bed that night. I pulled the covers back of a freshly made bed and there were crumbs on the sheets. The staff was not helpful. One of the workers was mad at her boss for not giving her a raise so she vented to us all night about making $10.50/hour. I slept on top of my covers that night wrapped in sweatshirts. Even with this hotel being the ONLY hotel in Punxy, I will never give this place my money ever again and I recommend you looking at local B&B's near by.

I really enjoyed the cleanliness and staff were very nice and helpful. Just for anyone who has a need to use an elevator this hotel in Punxsutawney does not have one. Also the hot tub wasn’t working but other than that it was great stay. Thank you!

We were lucky enough to find this spot on our way home to Canada on a motorcycle trip - reasonably priced, updated and clean! The beds, room and pool did were all great, the bar available at the front desk was an added bonus and the complementary breakfast was fully stocked. To complete our perfect stay, Lisa at the front desk could not have been more accommodating or better at her job. A welcome rest after a long motorcycle trip!

Nearby activities: lots to do in Punxsy PA! endless fun, you can go to the walmart, the tacobell, gobblers knob, the groundhog zoo, if you know someone with some land, there is great target shooting, deer spotting, and more. You're only as bored as you want to be.find and check out the groundhogs around town, see the fun and nostalgia of Frank's Famous Lunch, its amazing, or The Weather Musuem. The coffee shops in town are much the same if not better than many in big cities, the local flavor included at restaurants like Gimmick's, Neko's or Joes drive in, which is the closest to here. Ask the staff, they can tell you all about town i bet.
