My family got our dog here back in probably 2009 or 10. The first dog that they brought out to us was a purebred Pomeranian. Me and my brother being very young fell in love with him pretty much immediately. He was my best friend until he passed about a year ago. I can’t thank Last Chance Ranch enough for helping me to meet the best dog in the world. Teddy was the sweetest dog ever and he completely changed my life. I’m 20 years old now so I had him for majority of my life. I still miss him everyday but had to write a review to thank this ranch.

Everyone was not only very helpful, but very friendly too. We brought our little girls and our our 11 year old shih tzu to meet some prospective dogs. We played in a play yard. There was no pressure. It was great. If I could have changed anything about it, I wouldn't. You should really check this place out.

Caring and compassionate staff. Facilities clean and spacious. Thorough background checks and match-up with potential adoption. We were so happy to be able to offer a forever home to a loving older dog ?.

I recently filled out an online application for adoption of a dog. I was immediatly declined. When I questioned it, they indicated that I did not take my pets for proper vaccinations or check ups and shots. They had called my vet office. That is fine, but I often take my animals to clinics which provide cheapter prices than a high priced vetrinary office. If they had given me the opportunity to provide their records, this would have not been an issue. Partially my fault as I did not see a spot on the application for shot records. This is what I got in an email:reached out to your vet and both cats were not taken in yearly for vaccinations and rabies is a state mandated vaccination for dogs and cats. So I am sorry, but we could not move forward with your application. I wish you well in your search elsewhere. This was my reply:Both cats were given the proper care. Shots and vaccinations were given by Awsom Animal Shelter. I could have provided those records given the chance instead of a flat out declination. You have denied one of your rescue animals a very loving and caring home. How sad that is.Their reply:If you want to provide the paperwork, you can and then we may be able to move forward. That is up to you.Not a very good reply, however after talking with them and the snotty emails, I have decided this place is not a good fit for me.I have adopted and rescued many pets over the years. My last one was a diabetic which I had to give insulin shots 3 times a day and pay for very expensive food for her, needles and her insulin. Did this for 7 years. Roughly $300 a month. My other cat I had for 15 years and was very well taken care of until he passed from old age. All of this was on my application which I thought would indicate I am a responsible fur parent. Apparently this shelter didn't think so. How sad

First time fostering to adopt. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They love the animals as much as you will. The adoption process was quick and easy. We love our new addition to our family and can't wait to help the next and LCR's continued mission.

This past weekend I adopted my 4th dog from LCR. Just as before, the staff was so helpful with giving us plenty of time to interact with all the dogs we wanted to meet. They were very kind and patient with explaining each dog's character and letting us know why a specific dog would be a good fit for our family, or why not as the case may be. They are a wonderful organization, and their adoption process is smooth and uncomplicated. Over the years, they have helped many animals find good forever homes.

We rescued our dog Rocky from there in 2015 and are so lucky to have him. I have all good things to say about Last Chance Ranch and are so grateful to them for saving his life. He is truly a gift.

Went to the pet vaccine clinic to help keep petcare costs down. This is such a great community event that they hold annually. You can't go wrong with following Last Chance Ranch and keeping in the know about their events. They have fundraiser events, open house, pet vaccine clinic and help to re-home animals that are living their last chance. Oh, there is a thrift store run by all volunteers so the profits go to the LCR. Check it out, they have great deals! Off of Route 309 in Quakertown. 93 S West End Blvd, shopping center near the Popeyes and Pets Plus. Same center as Dominos Pizza. It's a small place but worth it. They get in some very nice furniture!

We adopted 3 Bantam chickens from Last Chance Ranch a week ago. The whole process was super easy, everyone was incredibly friendly, the facility was clean and our chickens are very healthy and happy girls. I recommend everyone to check out last chance ranch!

Do not volunteer here, don't waste your time here there are better farms that need help out there. Started volunteering with horses and the day before I was supposed to volunteer on my third week I got an email from the owner saying that she didn't want me to volunteer since she thought it was to "advanced" for me whatever that means. We never talked outside of emails so she was assuming that I didn't know what I was doing, I took multiple horse riding classes so I'm very comfortable around horses and a easy to learn hard worker. The owner of this farm does not appreciate your time and is not willing to work with you in any way. Do not volunteer here you have been warned.

I took a group tour at LCR and we had the best time! Our guide knew the animals well and did a great job facilitating our experience. We had 12 year olds up to 60-somethings and they made it fun for everybody!
