I would really think twice before ordering windows or doors from Lowe’s
My saga story is about 2 1/2 months ago.
And I can’t help but think the biggest contributing factor to the story is incompetence by the staff at the Lowe’s.
This is close today 60 when the order was supposed to be placed. I was told two weeks ago the windows and patio tour and storm tour that they ordered and I already paid for was in stock deliver to the store and I should be hearing from the contractor ASAP, only to get a call from one of their people telling me the master bedroom window never came in, but they’re on the phone with Pella and Lowe’s assured me it was on the truck and should be there within two days
Well, it’s 2 1/2 weeks later and there’s still no window! And to make matters worse, my company is going through a merger and my t available time to takeoff is extremely limited. And as the debacle continues my time for getting these windows and doors put in is becoming more and more narrow. And here you go I just called today cause they promised me that window at the latest would be in today, 25 June. And I was told that we called Paula and they assured us it will be here by July 6.
As I said, I paid off the full balance and it’s two months and I haven’t seen a single window or door being installed in my condo. So yes, I would say think twice about using Lowe’s to install any windows in any doors because obviously they’re incompetent.

I was in Lowes today to purchase a battery for my garage door opener.
I was helped by a young lady by the name of Austin.
I couldn’t figure how to open the opener to see what battery I would need but Austin knew exactly what to do. She took me to where the batteries were located and found it for me. I paid for the product and Austin put the new battery in the opener for me. This young woman was so professional, courteous and knowledgeable. She gave good old fashion incredible customer service.
When I got home, the opener opened the garage!
