We wrote to GE regarding our GE Profile dishwasher. ...... update if we follow GE's instructions, we VOID any warranty on the GE Profile dishwasher. Letter written GE--We are writing to you about our GE Profile Dishwasher, PDT795SYVES,purchased 19 June 2025 from Schulberger's INC, 1800 Broad Street, Quakertown, PA 18951, (215) 538-1800. We purchased the machine for $2029.86 including $225 installation, $239.99 5 year extended warranty, and $114.89 sales tax. Schulbergers stated this issue is GE's responsibility, not theirs. We used the device five MONTHS daily except for a one-month vacation break in September. When we returned at the end of September, we noticed a foul order in the machine and silicon sealant is grossly excreting out from the lower sides of the machine. The silicon has the appearance of long and thick thread spidery webs. The dishwasher silicon can and does clog the drain lines from the dishwasher to the sink drain. We don't need plumbing issues caused by the GE Dishwasher. The silicon seals the seams between the tub and the side walls of the dishwasher. The silicon prevents water escaping to the dishwasher exterior. We know the combination of detergents, high temperatures, and water in the dishwasher are degrading the silicon. I have often seen this occur in bathtubs and showers where exposure to soap, detergents, water and heat degrades silicon sealant. As the silicon sealant excretes from the dishwasher seams, water and detergent escapes outside of the dishwasher putting the us, the owner at risk for damage to the dishwasher and home. This is most wrong and cheap of GE. We do not use the machine as silicon is a health hazard and we are finding silicon on our dishes. We are very dismayed and angry that GE uses silicon, essentially a hazardous substance on the interior of the dishwasher. Silicone sealants contain harmful chemicals, such as phthalates and isocyanates. Phthalates, in particular, are known to disrupt hormone function and may pose risks to reproductive health. Ingested silicon causes digestive tract issues and may cause circulatory system illnesses and cancer. As per our request, a GE Technician came to our home and inspected the dishwasher. The service technician said he, GE Consumer Services, and GE Engineers would review the inspection and get back to us. Subsequently, Consumer Services communicated to us that they, the service technician, and the engineers see and found no issues. We vehemently disagree and are most disappointed with GE. We request a GE executive communicate with us to resolve the above issue. We request and expect GE to provide us a full refund and remove the dishwasher from our home. Response from GE......Hello, We're reaching out regarding the case for your washer and service. Our technician and Technical Assistance Group (TAG) have determined that no repairs can be completed to the dishwasher as there are no faults found with it. The tech states silicone seeped through tub seam, advised this is normal from assembly. We update and redesign each model every 1-3 years so any problems we find currently excessive will be addressed. I understand your concerns with quality; I can assure you GE Appliances continues to review all products for possible improvement. I understand how upsetting it can be when a product fails to operate or meet your expectation. This case helps ensure we work to improve quality control and internal processes. We want our consumers to be satisfied with our products and any service needs that may arise as GE Appliances has established high standards in appliance quality and design. This is the reason we document and encourage, your comments and any feedback. Please let us know if you have questions. Your case will be placed on standby. This just means we're happy to further assist if needed, but won't plan to proactively follow up. Thank you for choosing GE Appliances, a Haier company and have a great day! Sincerely, Cheryl GE Appliances a Haier Company Consumer Relations 1-800-386-1215 Option 4 PLEASE READ WHAT

Wow Blown away. Customer service for me was top notched. Friendly and personable! Fast and correct answers. Speedy ordering and so very helpful. As a person of color I’m not always welcomed so as a handyman these folks will see me over and over. Telling all who have the need, Schulberger’s is the place!

outrageous service prices. my dishwasher broke the tech came out hit 3 buttons to reset the alarm and left within 15 min. no tools no parts nothing 160 dollars. the dryer broke the tech came out looked up the model number told me it was discontinued and to buy a new one from them. again no tools no parts 10 min total in my house 116.55. and the dryer is still broke. I literally paid 276.55 for basically nothing. and to top it off I love 4 blocks from their office it's not like they even had to drive much. less than an hour of work including the commute and 276.55 dollars to essential fix one appliance. I get things cost money but this is highway robbery. will never use them again!

Absolutely over priced company. The first time I used them my dishwasher wasn't draining. The tech came out hit 3 buttons to reset the alarm. Didn't take it apart didn't order any part and spent all of 15 min in the house it cost 160 dollars. But at least its working. The dryer stops working it won't stop spinning they send a tech out again doesn't take the machine apart he looks up a part says it's discontinued recommends buy a new dryer from them. Literally spent 10min in my house used no tools ordered no parts 116.55. and my dryer is still broke. On top of that I live 4 blocks from their office. So for less than an hour of work including the drive I paid 276.55 and got one appliance fixed with no new parts and a tech in my house for a total of 25 min max. Highway robbery. I get not everything is fixable, I get there is a price for everything now I'm even not that made with the dishwasher at least u did something and it works. But the dryer is still broke that charge shouldn't have been more than 60 bucks. I will never use this company again and file a better business complaint for price gouging.

A breath of fresh air is how we'd describe our experience with the purchase of our new dishwasher. The same person that sold us the unit last week also delivered and installed it today. Adam was so easy to work with, and took the time he needed to make the install perfect. He explained the best detergent, etc. We were so impressed and would highly recommend Schulberger's to everyone! We will use you again! Much better than any Big Box Store!

Schulberger’s was amazing from beginning to end when we replaced our dishwasher! The transaction in the showroom, the arrangement for installation and the installation itself was quick and easy and perfect! Adam was fantastic and he removed the old dishwasher as promised. No additional or hidden costs. Schulberger’s is the place to go for any and all appliances! Thanks to everyone at Schulberger’s!👏🏻

My washing machine had issues after 1 1/2 years. I could use it but it took some maneuvering and patience. I was told they would see what they can do because it was a $400.00 repair. Because it wasn’t under warranty and no extended contract I had a $400.00 repair bill. I was not called to tell me they would not help and I would have to pay. I would not have authorized repairing it and used it until it actually broke. I was not happy with the way it was handled.

Big shout out to everyone here. Gave them a call about my broken spike glycol chiller. Many other companies wouldn't even take a look at and turned me down, or wanted a redcules price to diagnose the issue. But called them and had no issue trying to give it a shot to help me out. Kept me up to date on what they had to do it and great price. Couldn't be happier with this company!

First time buying from Schulberger's. Bought a good brand washing machine (seemingly not available in box stores) speed queen. We bought on 12/23 and was expecting delivery the following week due to Christmas. Called about 2 hours after we left to let us know they could deliver that same afternoon! Friendly and professional local delivery guys and we are very pleased. Saying goodbye to the big box store for good. The same day delivery saved us tons of hassle and time since our old washer was not operational. Laundry can now resume as scheduled!

Purchased a GE Washer and Dryer (at separate times this year) at a competitive price from a local company that was convenient, quick and I had the equipment delivered and installed in a couple of days (when I expected 5 days). Plus IF I need service, I know where to go.
