The Quentin Tavern is our favorite pub in central PA. Great food, great service and they have an awesome outdoor deck for the summer. Best burgers anywhere!

Our waitress Tiffany was terrific. The food was excellent. Plenty of space between tables, a beautiful bar, and an outdoor patio. Try the carrots cake, unbelievable! Thank you for a delicious meal.

So we stopped by for lunch i ordered ed Mcbain burger with a side of onion rings. The $15.99 burger was to come with chips but when it came out no chips. So i asked our server where are my chips ? His response was you ordered ONION RINGS. So i then asked does that mean the burger was less than stated on menu since I didn’t get chips. He was completely oblivious to the concept that if i was being charged for chips then i wanted my chips. I even asked what part of me wanting my chips if im paying for them don’t you understand ? At this point i asked for the manager and explained she said she would be happy to get the chips. During my conversation with the manager the server went back and got chips on a plate and proceeded to bring them out and toss them on our table and very rudely said here’s your chips and kept going. The manager watched all this while standing beside our table and didn’t say a word to the server. WOW ARE YOU KIDDING ME !!!!! The server refused to come back to our table and the manager allowed him to continue his tantrum and sent a different server to take care of the rest of our meal. SO BOTTOM LINE IS THIS IF ITS OKAY FOR EVERY BUSINESS ON THE PLANET TO RAISE PRICES THEN I WANT WHAT IS DESCRIBED ON THE MENU THAT IM ORDERING. NO EXCEPTION !!! IF I WOULD HAVE ORDER A SIDE LIKE COLE SLAW, CORN, PEAS, ETC. I WOULD HAVE GOT CHIPS. BUT BECAUSE I PAID EXTRA FOR ONION RINGS I DIDNT. BAD BUSINESS RUDE, HATEFUL, BEHAVIOR BY THE SERVER. IM GUESSING HES RELATED TO BUSINESS OWNER SOMEHOW…….. BASICALLY IT COMES DOWN TO THIS GIVE THE PATRON WHAT IS STATED THAT COMES WITH WHATEVER THEY ORDER……..PERIOD. THERE SHOULD BE NO MORE DISCUSSION THAN THAT. IT SAYS WHAT I GET ON THE MENU WITH MY MEAL AND IF A SERVER ISNT ABLE UNDERSTAND OR COMPREHEND WHAT IT STATES ON THE MENU THEN THEY SHOULD NOT BE A SERVER. ORDER TOTAL FOR A BURGER, ONION RINGS, MIXED BERRY SALAD AND 2 DIET COKES WAS $46.07 AND IM GOT HASSLED ABOUT GETTING THE CHIPS THE MENU STATED CAME WITH THE BURGER.

We’ve been wanting to try the Quentin Tavern for years. Finally, we stopped in for takeout after ordering online. My husband got the Ed McBain burger and I had the Where’s Waldorf salad size small. The portions were generous. My small salad was about the size of a standard salad elsewhere. Everything was fresh and put together beautifully. My husband had a slightly different experience. He ordered gravy fries on the side and his takeout box contained the burger, fries, and a generous ladle of gravy on parchment paper that was kind of a mess. His burger was swimming in gravy. Other places put the gravy in its own container which keeps things quite a bit neater. He couldn’t really eat the burger with his hands because it was dripping with gravy. For the price of the meal and a first experience it was a bit disappointing. Just a suggestion- anything saucy should be in a separate cup for takeout orders.I assume dining in would be different. It will probably be a while before we go back. The food was fine but not extraordinary.

Stopped here for a late lunch on Sunday. Took a few minutes for someone to seat us though they weren’t busy. This place needs a refreshed interior and an identity. Decor is all over the place. Is it a pub or a sports bar?Beers on tap were the same old, same old. Nothing new and exciting.Menu had a decent selection. I got the Buffalo Chicken baked potato special. The salad brought out before my meal was just arugula. Not my favorite lettuce but okay if mixed with other greens, which it wasn’t. It also had 2 grape tomatoes, 2 rings of red onion, 4 cucumber slices, and 4 croutons. The blue cheese dressing was delicious though! The potato was WAY smaller than they used to be under the old owners. I counted 6 small pieces of buffalo chicken on top. They were good but I could have used a few more.Overall it was “okay” but to me, not worth the money. We’re going to give it a few years before we go back.

Stopped for lunch today. Sat in the bar area. Our server Rachel was very friendly and efficient. The food was very tasty. I had the up in smoke sausage sandwich and my wife had the cheesesteak quesadilla. Can’t wait to go back. Unfortunately I left my phone in the car. So no pictures.
