Faith is a wonderful nutritionist. She will work with you as an equal and help you develop the tools and techniques that you need to succeed. I have met with Faith regularly over the past 4 months, and not only has she helped me optimize my nutrition to reach new heights from an athletic perspective, but she has helped me re-frame my complex relationship with food in a much more healthy and sustainable way. She is flexible with her schedule, and very easy to talk to. I highly recommend her to anyone, regardless of your particular goal or issue.

Love training with Sara Showalter. The combinations and technique in weight lifting has transformed my body and I’ve worked out for 40 yrs. with different trainers and haven’t gotten the results I’m now seeing.

Sarah Showalter has been my personal trainer at Alliance Fitness Center for the past year. I am extremely pleased with the functional fitness program she has designed for me and can see and feel the results in my everyday living activities. Sarah is personable and knowledgeable of exercise physiology and constantly monitors my fitness needs.

AFC fitness provides a one stop shop for someone's fitness needs and/or journey. A combination of educated professionals, organization of group classes, along with a fantastic group of personal trainers. The people that work at AFC are very welcoming and all take a personal interest in their clients health and fitness goals. The encouragement and support system are second to none.

I've been training here with Nate since July, and I've had so much fun while getting stronger. If you train with Nate, you may even learn some new recipes as he's a big foodie.The facility is super clean, the staff are the nicest people you'll ever meet, and even the other members are really nice. AFC is not pushy about which type of membership you have, and I appreciate the flexibility. I've seen all types of people here from high school students to seniors. I highly recommend AFC to anyone looking for small and welcoming place to work out.

After having my first baby, and never really knowing how to work out or eat for my body type, I came to Claire at AFC. She has been so considerate, understanding, and flexible with my schedule, needs, and abilities after having my baby. She has been giving me gradual steps to learn how to eat properly and work out properly to get the results that I want. She truly understands where I am at and meets me where my needs are. I never feel judged and I feel like I have a try encouraging trainer and nutrition coach. I don’t feel like I’m in this by myself and that she is going to help me get where I want to go!

Claire is intuitive, detail oriented and drives you to give your best in your workouts. She accommodates physical needs and is great in conversation during the workout that makes the work seem less daunting. Highly Recommend!

One of the only small, personal gyms left in the area! You walk in and you know everyone and they all know you as well! The classes are great and there is never a crowd in the workout area! A true hidden Berks County treasure

Perspective is key! In the AFC group classes, I always wondered why we did a lot of what I would call "functional movements." And when I injured my knee and realized I had to balance and rely on my other leg - I could not have been more thankful for the way these classes are formatted. I felt strong enough to take on my injury with little disruption to my daily activities (like putting on my shoes or walking up the stairs) because of the type of training AFC provides. They take a 360 degree approach to fitness and I am thankful I signed up as a group member.
