Candlewood Suites Reading by IHG is a pet-friendly hotel that offers a cozy and clean environment with helpful and friendly staff. Guests appreciate the great service, welcoming front desk team, and helpful hospitality staff who maintain a positive atmosphere. The hotel features rooms with kitchenettes and cookware, making longer stays comfortable. Guests staying for extended periods find the location convenient and feel secure during their stay. The views from the hotel are praised, and the overall experience is considered good value for the money. However, some guests note that the rooms can be small and that the beds are very soft and not very comfortable. The hotel’s outdoor area lacks walkability, with a steep incline making walking difficult, especially for pet owners. There was a concern raised about safety, as a guest’s child was injured due to a metal piece sticking up from the shower drain, but staff did not seem concerned at the time. Overall, Candlewood Suites Reading by IHG provides a friendly, clean, and comfortable stay with minor drawbacks.
Did not get any respect from Housekeeping knocking on the door 2 hours before checkout? I understand that they have rooms clean, though was a very strange experience.

Very nice management & the hotel is very clean inside. It’s an excellent location & affordable. Nice kitchens with supplies in rooms & full size refrigerator. Pet fee is not outrageous.
