“Carmen Labrador gave a very detailed and lively new homebuyer class. It was extremely informative and she answered all of my questions. She is very knowledgeable in the topic but explained it in a way that was easy to understand. Leading up to the class she was very responsive as well. I enjoyed this session and look forward to working with her moving forward.”

“This place has been on my radar since it opened, but I never got there until recently. I had my second Yin Yoga class there today, the first included sound healing on a Friday night, today’s was a Sunday morning, with the founder. I am really grateful to finally have gotten here. I am a mental health therapist in private practice locally, and know that this place will be my healing spot to find solace and practice much needed self care. I want more! ? Also, the grounds are gorgeous, even in November, and they made the inside look calm
inviting! I love that they have all of the gear there for their classes (straps, blocks, mats, blankets, bolsters.). AND I cannot wait to eat there some weekend after class. #grateful”

“Abilities in Motion or AIM has the best staff. I myself am disabled and found myself looking for assistance in the community. I typed in 'Disability' into Google, and this great organization popped up. I decided to pick up the phone and call. It was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I was nervous at first, but they quickly showed me that they cared. I was able to sit down with a few of their employees, and they made me feel so supported. I didn't feel alone in my experience. With their support I felt a part of a community.
They have a cafe that is sensory friendly with things like low lighting, no loud tvs, and more! It is called Rollie's Place, and they just started cantering! The building it's self has color inside, and it has motion sensor opening doors.
The advocate that is helping me is so kind, and her heart is in the right place. I congratulate an administration that is able to find employees that are there to be a support and a light at the end of what can seem like a long tunnel.
I highly recommend picking up the phone and making an appointment today if you have a disability and are looking for support or services!”

“Being 2 miles from this dynamic organization and location is such a treat! They have great events, year round, such as garden and porch tours, Christmas house tours, flea markets, and a fascinating Artifacts Bank loaded to the gills with all things architecturally important and historical. Great sales from time to time to, get on the mailing list for this organization. They revitalized a park which now features a lovely working fountain, surrounded by a ring of rose bushes and smooth walking paths.”

“I haven't been to Berco in some years, but my younger brother went there post high school for about 7-8 years. They were OUTSTANDING with him. They took great care of him & he was one of the more difficult students. He really loved going there & they enjoyed having him as well.”

“I love this place. It not only provides shelter to victims of domestic violence, but it also offers support groups, legal support, resource coordination, counseling and much more. They empower all those struggling and guide them to find a way out of pain to independence. I so grateful to Maria and to all the team who go the extra mile to assist the served population. Many blessings to all.”

“I had 15 sessions with Ana. She really knows what she is doing. She gave me some exercises I could use when my anxiety starts getting really bad. I am so happy to say that they really work. There was an problem someone else was having and it escalated where this man was yelling at the admin team. It made me feel so uncomfortable and they had no security. The one security guy that was working down stairs clearly wouldnt have been able to help. I hope they fix that issue.”

“I’m so shocked by the comments. I’ve read them prior to attending months ago and expected the worst. And I honestly got the complete opposite. I’ve had nothing but great experiences at this YMCA. At the sign up the older woman at the front desk was really nice and explained everything politely. Each day I go they warmly greet me when I arrive and when I leave. I’ve interacted with different people, older women, young women even a man at the front desk on different days. Each were nice and respectful. This place is well kept to be an older building. You can tell by the crowd of regulars visitors and members that this place was a prized place back in the day and they still try to keep that feel after all these years later. I wouldn’t let others experience persuade you, try it out for yourself.”

“I’m a student who helped make food/serve people today. The staff were so sweet, especially Joe and he helped everyone know where to get things/what to do/etc. I made great conversations with some of the people staying at the shelter. I watched people donate food today and the staff gladly accepted it and used it (later on i think?) but your donations don’t go to waste. absolutely love volunteering here and would love to come back”
