My experience with this accounting service was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The process took over 2 weeks, and I encountered numerous issues along the way. I was unexpectedly switched to a different tax preparer mid-process, and the initial accountant I dealt with was unprofessional and rude. Additionally, my files, which were in standard formats (spreadsheets), couldn’t be accessed on their end, further delaying the process.
Finally, the initial estimate I received was between $209-$299; I was ultimately charged $350. I was led to believe this fee would cover the entire tax preparation, but instead, it only accounted for the preliminary work. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with a financial institution. I genuinely feel taken advantage of, like I was overcharged for subpar service. When I shared the fee with other small business owners, they were shocked, even questioning whether I'd been scammed. I deeply regret not handling my taxes myself.

I had asked if they are giving out advanced loan this is on feb 24 and he said yea charged me 317 dollars and when I called the card. It told me they are not accepting applications for advanced loan. He lied to take my money

H&R Block filed my 2022 tax return in a timely manner, but surprised me with an outrageous $750 preparation fee.

Eric Donatti is a miracle worker! My husband was having issues getting his state taxes filed for PA through H&R Block for two years because no one could figure out how to enter his information and get him his refund as an active duty military member without the system kicking back the return and not letting them submit. After exhausting all my other options trying to reach someone in PA state and using their portal I made one last try and decided to call an H&R Block in PA. I explained to the receptionist my issue and she immediately got me in contact with a tax expert, Eric. I explained my situation and he said he would do the best he could to help me with the virtual drop off since we are currently stationed in a different state. Eric was able to get my husband’s last two years of taxes filed with his full refund! Words can’t describe how elated we both are and how much we appreciate Eric’s help! Definitely recommend him!

Filed in person at H+R. Paid them hundreds to do my taxes. Been waiting almost 2 months for my return since THEY forgot to add a document and had to file an amended return. Now they're closed with no one to contact. I want my money back.
