Rude cashiers, understaffed, long lines. They charge for bags, have to bag your own groceries. I'm willing to pay 10 cents more for better service, so will likely use other grocers much more frequently.

I went there for the first time not knowing that I needed to bring my own bags to bag my groceries with they would not claim they could not help me back my groceries or give me a box to use or anything for that matter therefore it was a bit discouraged to go back

I really love this place! It has such a wide variety of merchandise. My husband hates grocery stores but he does like Lidl for their bakery, meat selection and most importantly...their selection of cheese. The shelves are always stocked with things that I need and things that I don't need ( but buy them anyway!) It's always bright and very clean which is very important. If the lines are getting long...they will call for another cashier. Prices are great and they even have house plants!

Don’t go by their ad, the products in the ad are never there when they are supposed to be, then they say oh that starts later, or the truck didn’t bring it. Then don’t put it in the ad, or state that the dates on the ad are incorrect!

Worst cashier ever. Rude, disrespectful and just plain mean to customers. Harasses people when you pack your cart, and throws food down the belt like it’s trash. I hope that guy gets fired.

If I could give zero stars I would. I am FURIOUS. Today, I experienced one of the most humiliating, discriminatory, and downright cruel moments of my life. A staff member ordered me to exit the mobility scooter I was using—because they decided I “didn’t need it.” Yes, you read that right: a random employee with zero medical training took it upon themselves to judge my health and told me I “don’t have a hidden illness.”
Newsflash: not all disabilities are visible. The fact that I have to spell that out in 2025 is pathetic. I use a mobility scooter for a reason. I didn’t ask for your permission to be disabled. Your staff had no right to interrogate me, no right to invalidate my condition, and NO RIGHT to strip me of the dignity and basic accessibility that I rely on to shop like anyone else.
I left the store shaking, embarrassed, and devastated. Is this how Lidl trains its staff—to harass and gaslight disabled customers? To make people feel small and ashamed for simply existing with a condition that doesn’t show on the outside?
This wasn’t just an inconvenience. It was a direct violation of my rights and an act of blatant discrimination. I demand an apology, an investigation into this incident, and better disability training for your staff—immediately.
Do better, Lidl. Disabled people exist. And you don’t get to decide who is and isn’t “disabled enough.”

I really like this place … always very clean and prices are good . First time buying baked goods and I was very pleased. Nice employees, too - rather then going to Weis I have been going to the Sinking Spring location. Nice selection of produce too.
