i failed inspection due to a bad muffler? The muffler is not bad! No light for the exaust no check engine light. Failed me cause my truck sounded loud at the manifold. Its a 25 year old truck the headers have warpage. Well i think he failed me cause im white cause how them popcorn exausts and wompers pass when the spanish guys pull up?

Cant say it was good or bad.. went in for inspection and took sbout 5 minutes to pass everything and only fail because of brake pads..Seemed helpful until i looked and my pads had about 3/4 inch on pads.. ive passed with almost scraping pads before..I tried to see if there was anything i could do because i am only in town for the weekend .. but he said he was leaving at 1 pm..I asked him how much he would want to throw pads on and he seemed to just make up a number of $90..I had all day to think about this and how it ruined my weekend.. and the more i think about it , the more i wonder, i mean, i cant say for sure but i cant see 5 minutes being long enough to check brake pads during inspection by 1 guy..if i had my tools and some extra cash i couldve gotten the pads and had them on before he left the shop at 1pm.. but i also think he didnt plan on me being able to work on my car.. but i didnt know my brake pads would be $80 either and if that wasnt bad enough, add his $90 and the 65 for inspection .. i dont have that right now..And when i brought up bringing it to another place to get inspection he said they 'might" fail me..not that they would definitely.. then i would be paying for 2 inspections.. but 130 is hell of alot cheaper than paying 235 to a shop that im not sure could be trusted..Well good thing i didnt post before i noticed my check engine light is on..was gonna be generous and leave a 4 star review.. but now i lowered it and left my original review above..Found out my gas cap was still loose.. now im wondering what else mightve been messed with.. probably nothing but now im paranoid..
