Horrible company management is promising much and when you are in a lease agreement with them then they start sucking out your money nickel and dime you. Many accounting mistakes you need to double check every charge and keep everything documented because what you being promised by nice words of mark and Jude are simply a fantasy.

From my initial call to Customer Service to the late night drop off I must say the experience was Superb!! These guys/gals are the Dream Team of Truck Rentals!! And they’ll take care of Veterans. Totally outstanding.. If I HAD to say something critical it would be: Please be sure the Customer understands after hour drop off. It was not crystal clear. Other than that.. GREAT JOB!!!

DO NOT purchase a used vehicle from Penske. I purchased one truck that was considered level one. The same truck has DEF problems the next day driving from Ohio to Georgia. The truck was dropped off to Freight-liner. The dealership sent Penske the invoice it was bad one box and fifth wheel. The price came up to $20K. They decided not to move forward with the repairs. I had choice to purchase another vehicle which we selected another truck was ready for pick up. I been waiting weeks for "Management Approval" to move money from one vehicle to the next. I dont care what needs to happen they have the funding. They want to keep you in Penske rental so they can keep making money off of you. Now, I dont want the vehicle my driver has left the company. I been trying to get my money back. Still waiting on "Management Approval". Im about to get a lawyer and just sue this organization.

Great customer service from pick up to drop off! I forgot the young man’s name when I picked it up but Jose helped with check out as did a young woman and we were so impressed. 100% recommend!

I would just like to say that this Penske is the worst working job. Poor management poor organization. Good employees getting mentally drained because of this workplace that’s incredible. Do better people.

Im not sure what theyre doing there…on 2 separate occasions I was told I had to leave a truck overnight for maintenance work..In both instances it hadnt even been looked at when I came in the next day to pick it up. The 2nd time I was apologized to and ASSURED it would be ready the next morning. Both times I ended up having to leave without the issue being taken care of because I didn’t have the time to wait. How do you tell someone they have to leave a truck overnight, then dont bother to look at it, then have the audacity to ask them do they have time to wait so that you can try and fix the issue when they arrive to pick it up. I’ll tell you what though, when its time to bill you, theyre on top of that like you wouldnt believe.

Bought a Truck from this company and the whole process was HELL… finance manager Shane Remp refused to forward or CC docs with rep handling the info our Sales rep Megan Pletz was so lazy we didn’t even no who she was until it was 2 day to truck pick up she even admitted she didn’t know us till then… they got tired of me asking why they didn’t send each other the documents that we had provided SEVERAL times to them that they asked to no longer have contact with me because I asked if they knew their JOBS…The people at the Pick up Truck place where very nice…

Buyer Beware! Purchased a truck and Penske wasted 4 months of my time. They provided me with pick-up date multiple times. I was given the run around from the Sales Team for weeks about my truck being in the shop and needing new parts every other day. Spoke with an attorney that deals with Penske and he told me that Penske was basically waiting me out. Hoping I would grow tired of the waiting and cancel the sale. Then they would sell the truck for more than I purchased it for. Throughout this entire process I still paid my insurance every month for a truck they never planned on selling me. Thankfully I documented this entire process for personal and insurance reference.

I started this process to purchase a truck with Penske over a year ago. I started with a gentlemen name Sam. Sam would call me and give me a list of truck Penske had available. He was very patient and professional. I changed the kind of truck I was intending to purchase several times. From various sizes box trucks, to flatbeds, sleepers, day cabs only because the way the demands of the industry was changing. Not one time did he appear to be upset. He was very helpful and courteous and would answer and return everyone of my calls with professionalism! He was the sales rep I communicated with more but that was over a year ago. I sure hope he have moved into a management role! He surely deserve the promotion! We went through a pandemic for the last several years and Penske was continually send me updated and I would receive called periodically. I would check the website often and they would have some great deals but, I didn't see the semi truck that was meant for my business. Until several weeks ago! I saw a semi truck that was perfect and at "the price was right"! I've had so many issues with purchasing a semi that it, I was about to give up! When I saw this truck I was a little skeptical. I was in contact with Aly and she gave me all the information i needed on the truck. She was awesome and very professional with the detail of the sale. I process was a little daunting but Aly made sure I was in contact with the correct representatives to make the process run smoothly! I owe a thanks to all of the representatives that helped with the process. Julissa was awesome professional and she handles the next step after you purchase the truck with ease. Emily did a few follow up calls and she gave me additional list of trucks that had just come in, to make sure I was satisficed! Danielle was a great assisting with the wire transfer transaction, paperwork, bill of sale, sending me the title tracking information. Alex was the guy I met to pick up the truck . He has awesome follow up skills, professional and gave great information on finalizing the purchase. He was readily available. When I arrived to the location my truck was ready to pick up! I purchased a Kenworth T660! It is very clean inside and out! It runs like a new truck! Thank you ALL for the excellent customer service experience! Keep up the good work! I will definitely be back!

DONT EVER BUY A TRUCK THROUGH PENSKE READING ,PA .THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE BUYING A COMMERCIAL VEHICLE. PAID 55,000 FOR A TRUCK WITH COOLANT LIGHTS POPPING ON NOTHING ON THE DASHBOARD WORKS RAIDIO BROKE CANT PLUG IN ELD OR GPS OR EVEN CHARGE A PHONE TRUCK GOES 57 MILES AN HOUR TOP SPEED REALLY ? I PAID CASH AND HAVENT RECIEVED MY TITLE YET 2WEEKS NO ONE answers the phone

BUYERS BEWARE! If trying to buy a used truck, I would literally go anywhere before I would attempt to buy a truck from Penske.A deposit was put down 2 months ago, wired $9000 over 2 weeks ago and still not in a truck. Legally the truck is ours but we can’t pick it up without tags. We have had the truck insured over a week now which is $150 just down the drain. No one answers phone call or returns as they say they will, communication is terrible literally from everyone at Penske. To many middle men that don’t know what’s going on and never getting in touch with our direct contact ALEXA. She’s TERRIBLE! And if you need something while she’s on vacation, it’s not forwarded for someone else to handle, you’re just ignored during that as well.This company is a scam. I hope Alexa plans on paying for the insurance that I was told I needed to pick up my truck, yet it wasn’t even ready. PLEASE save yourself a ton of time and headache, it’s not worth it. Just go to a local dealer, they can get you in and out in one day. This company has taken almost 3 months now and yet still don’t have the truck. Oh and have to drive to Ohio from Maryland and then back. Like everything else in their company, unorganized and chaos. They couldn’t get tags in Illinois (supposedly). The tags were paid for my us and still nothing. Also was told to sign gap insurance papers today that was apparently added to our load without any communication. $1800 extra. When we called they said it’s required to get a truck. Howwww? We paid $9000 down on a $25000, we are not upside nor do we need gap insurance. The entire company is a JOKE!

JUDE THE MANAGER IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL HE'S A WIERDO , A CROOK , AND A LIAR AND NO BETTER THEN DOUGH AND KYLE IN THE OFFICE WHICH ARE USELESS WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE INSTEAD OF TAKING CARE OF THERE CUSTOMER THEY ROB AS MUCH MONEY FROM YOU WITH FAKE NON PROMISING DEALS SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME CONTRACTORS GO TO RYDER SPEAK TO ANTHONY!!!!!!!!
