Please don't bother calling the pharmacy. I tried calling 4 times and got no answer. I got into the pick up line and called the pharmacy and the phones didn't even ring. They must have the ringers off or the phones off. Waste of time. Typical large corporation.

I’ve read all the negative reviews and understand . Problem is not with the personal they are under staffed. I have been going there for many years and everyone in the Pharmacy are great. I want to recognize Corrine at the location, she has gone above and beyond to help me with situations and I’ve seen her relating to other people. She is a wonderful woman. Please try and get them more help

Prefacing this by saying that I have never left a bad Google review in my life before this. After working in a pharmacy for 7 years myself, I'm absolutely appalled at the incredibly abysmal customer service at this location time and time again. It's been pretty awful every single visit, but they're close, and we sucked it up for the convenience. I hit my breaking point last night when I went to pick up my son's medication and was told it was on back order. Fine, I get it, it happens.I asked if they could tell me if any other Rite Aid locations nearby had any, and she told me no, they didn't. I'd need to call other pharmacies like CVS, or Walgreens. My son had one pill left, and desperately needs this medication. That's all fine and well, except..I called another Rite Aid nearby. They had 20 of his 30 necessary pills. Better than nothing! I asked that pharmacy if they by chance could tell me if any others nearby had the whole prescription, and within 5 minutes he gave me a pharmacy 5 minutes further away that had the full amount. So I was blatantly lied to by this pharmacy. That was the last straw. This place:- Never acknowledges you when you're waiting. No "be with you in a sec" or even a glance while you wait. It's like an INTENTIONAL attempt to not make eye contact so they don't feel obligated to talk to you.- Never answers the phone. Two Rite Aids I called this morning answered on the second ring. This one made me go through a whole cycle of rings, back to the automated menu, and then through a whole other cycle of rings.. only to be rudely put on hold with a sentence spoken so fast I'd barely had time to digest what was even said.- Often has trouble filling prescriptions the same day, or even within a few hours. The Rite Aid I called this morning said it'd be ready in 30 minutes. And, again, I worked in a pharmacy for 7 years myself - an inability to fill a script that's in stock same day is incompetence at best.- Has some of the absolute worst customer service I've ever seen. I'm not somebody who expects beaming smiles and bowing to serve me, but at bare minimum making an effort to make it not seem like I'm inconveniencing you with my presence would be appreciated.Do yourself a favor and choose literally any other pharmacy to do business with, this one is awful.

Even when they have the medications in stock (rarely) they never have enough people working in the pharmacy.

Rite Aid at 2962 St Lawrence Ave Reading PA 19606 We had the perfect experience there as we needed a refund of a Western Union ticket that was not picked up. The WU was initiated at our local Walmart but they had messed up the ticket so badly that THEY were not able to process their own refund. We went to the Rite Aid down the street and the cashier, whose name I wish I had, was so incredibly patient on the phone with WU and resolved the issue and was able to process our refund. Spectacular service all with a smile and great attitude and the patience of a saint. I just wish I had his name.

Rite Aid in person was fine for the most part. However, it took me 9 times of calling and getting disconnected by the automated system before reaching a human in the pharmacy who could verify my prescription was ready for pick up. Also, they've made the weekend hours they are open in the pharmacy shorter along with taking a break in the middle of the day for lunch. I'm sorry. This is a store with a pharmacy in it. It's not a doctor's office. There should not be a shortage of staff members. People want to work but not for the pennies these franchises expect them to accept. So it's not a lack of staff hindering the ability for ppl to get their required medication. They are short on staff members because Corporate/Management are too selfish and unwilling to pay their staff a reasonable salary . Let's call the kettle what it is, folks! #FACTS!

Don't try calling the pharmacy. They don't answer the phone. ...ever. First time in my life that I ever had such a poor experience with a pharmacy. Never called me to see if I was going to go through my insurance or pay cash. Had to go into store to see if prescription was ready because no one answers the phone and then was told it wasn't in stock. They never even ordered it so it it comes in Monday I will have had to wait 7 days!! Never again!

Literally the worse service would give 0 stars if i could. Definitely have gone downhill. I get it, no one wants to work, the pay is terrible, theyre short staffed & blah blah blah. However the staff that does work always seems irritated like we're ruining their day by picking up our medication. The drive thru service is literally a joke...every time I attempt to use I sit for 5 minutes plus until I leave to go inside. Do yourself and the employees a favor and use a different pharmacy.

I have been going to this pharmacy for years. Unfortunately, I have also watched the decline in customer service. I’m not talking problems that arose from Covid, or changes that needed to be made due to safety. I’m not even talking about lack of staff. Non of that could have been helped. I’m talking about the rudeness of the pharmacy staff. Unprofessional, impolite, and looking annoyed you showed up to take up their time. This has not happened once or twice. This has been happening for over a year now. The drive-through staff has been down right ugly. I hate going there anymore. My last straw today was this. I went inside to pick up my prescription. It was 1:20. There were 2 other women in front of me. The woman at the window finished, and after she finished the young man with colorful hair said to myself and the other women in front of me “we’re closed” and started to pull down the metal curtain! The woman in front me begged him to get her father’s prescription after she drove an hour. He reluctantly agreed with a “you need to hurry up” I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t even try to ask, as he gave me a look that suggested “don’t even try it lady” I just left. It was not 1:30 yet (on a Sunday) and he was so rude and ignorant. I normally would have said something, but my experience with the staff there suggests it would do no good and I’d be labeled a “Karen.” There certainly are “Karen’s” but the term has given employees like this an excuse to treat customers like trash. I will no longer speak my concerns to employees who are ignorant and rude. I’m simply going to leave this review in hopes you are able to teach employees to respect others. I will also be leaving your store, and taking my business elsewhere.I have to say thank you to Colleen in the pharmacy. You have always been helpful, respectful and kind. Unfortunately, I don’t see you often. You are an excellent employee.

Absolutely terrible service from the female working in the pharmacy. Terrible attitude to work with over the phone... Couldn't schedule a simple vaccination! Called another place across the street and had it handled in 2 minutes. I do not recommend this pharmacy at all you will probably get sick just going to this store since they probably clean as well as they handle the phones....not good at all!

I love, love, love Rite Aid. I've been going to Rite Aid for 23 years now. I know everyone working there. I get treated with respect when dealing with all store associates. When you enter the store, they ask how you are and welcome you to the store. When you check out they ask if you have a rewards card and if you found everything. They deliver my prescriptions to my home. All you do is sign up with email, you get an email, pay for your Rx just like in the store, and pick a day to have them delivered. Easy Peasy. I love that due to being disabled and not always able to get out to pick them up.

Pharmacy review: if you can't fulfill prescriptions in a timely manner please call the customer and let them know. I'm the fool for continuing to use this location. Urgent care across the street called in a script for me and it took 2 days to fulfill. Stupid! I should have expected it since it always takes at least 2 days for a script, just figured there would be more urgency for the emergency. Also closing at 6 on a Saturday is insane. I officially have one day left of my meds as of right now that still hasn't been fulfilled.Front of store cashiers are awesome though.

This rite aid pharmacy is the worst. Half the time they “don’t have your prescription ”. Now, the worst, drive through only for Covid tests???! Why? So I have to drag my sick child out if car, across store so you can walk a difference if 15’ from window??!
