The staff were very friendly and there was a wide variety of alcohol, so shopping was enjoyable.

The older blond haired women that (I JUST FOUND OUT) Everyone has complained about! She has something mean to say every time I come in, first time I had to wait for her to finish her chapter in the book she was reading. Then I asked about Elderberry and a certain liquor, she said "NO I have no idea you will have to go back to Disney where you saw it". Then she yells that you didn't hit the credit or debit button, but it's hard to see and must hit it before AND after. Yesterday for the second time she denied me to use the shopping cart when exiting the store, my spine is collapsing on itself and I'm dying of cancer, but she told me I couldnt use the cart unless I brought it back. I told her I thought what she was saying may be against the law and she said she didn't care. This is the 2nd time she has done this. I told her I don't have my cane and I'm right in front in handicap parking, she started yelling at me in front of customers. Im only 56 so I'm embarrassed enough I called back from the car and a young guy said everyone is trying to get her fired, but because it's a state run liquor entity, it's hard, he said they needed people's names and numbers, which some resist, I said OH NO, I'LL EVEN TESTIFY IN HARRISBURG TO GET HER OUT. If you hate life that much, move to Russia or Iran. You miserable excuse of a person. I'm done and sick of having to drive across town because I don't want you to get my BP up. Two times before this last when she first told me I couldn't use the cart my BP was 218/176 and my HR was 221 BpM. You can't ask her ANYTHING, she always has something sarcastic to say or nothing at all. Making someone wait until you read the last 2.5 pages of your romance novel? REALLY? and between our estate we spend about $200 plus per week, actually that is just one person from our home, so more like $300 per week. Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial, LûX, Finlandia, Belvedere, Chatau Ste Michelle Reisling, Tanquarray, Dickle, GG Vodka, Absolüt Citron, Campari, No. Ten Gin, Baileys Irish Creme, Grande Mariner, Chambord, plus 3 bottles per well at a time for our bar and bar carts. When I moved here Oct of last year I spent around $12K over two months stocking the new house and this person was their usually and had so many questions I wanted/needed to ask and it was meant with OUTRIGHT DISDAIN. I've never met someone so miserable at place of employment, I was sure she must be an owner or DM, but was told none of that, but at least 5 complaints per week and was told some people wait in line for someone other than her to ring their purchases. The gentleman Owen or Eoin (Irish) was VERY KIND AND HELPFUL, KEPT APOLOGIZING because he heard this women embarrass me again, everyone then looked at me and the cart slipped from my hand and started towards the road causing me to flinch and grab it, pulling my back out further, all because she clearly is miserable. I lost my whole family, home in hurricane Mathew, as well as my identity stolen because of FEMA and now what I told 6 doctors was more than a freckle has turned into cancer of my spine, can barely walk but refuse to be bed ridden so I use the cart in addition to cane, unrecognizable from 2 years ago, and have less than a year to live, yet I still have kindness in my heart and happy because I realize things can always be SO MUCH WORSE. 1/3rd of the world's population must walk 20> miles each way for water that isn't even potable or healthy, look at the news, yet this person acts as if each customer has water boarded her. She needs to give the job to someone with a family to feed and willing to offer answers to a question you may have. I can't believe she hasn't garnered a lawsuit as of yet.

I'm used to being asked for my ID at the register, but this time I got asked three separate times if I was old enough to be there and if I had an ID on me. They were kind of passive aggressive about it too. When we went to checkout, the cashier seemed really annoyed to be helping us. The store itself had good inventory, but the whole experience was uncomfortable.

I was there with my mother Christmas shopping, and typically I don't make a fuss about showing someone my id or someone asking to see it. HOWEVER I was looking at the little alcohol bottles thinking about getting one and the one lady(50-60s) at the counter on the right looks at me and says "I need to see your id, seeing you touch the alcohol bottles is making me uncomfortable" she said this in a rude demeaning tone, one you would use if you're talking to a delinquent child. Instead of stooping to her level I said "sure here is my id" she sees 1999 at the end of my birth year LET OUT A SCOFF and doesn't even apologize. Someone I know works here and he always is so nice and has great customer service however this lady was so out of line and even her coworkers didn't reprimand her on her bad behavior AND IF I DID THIS AT MY JOB I'D BE REPREMANDED almost instantly.I was gonna buy some Christmas gifts, and I didn't because she killed the vibe.If I bought something I would be able to give an exact time but I know I was there before 1pm but definitely after 11 am. so if this company would like to actually take action it would be appreciated.I was there 12/19/2023

If you buy online and have it shipped to the local store, they charge you $shipping. If you buy online and have it shipped to your house it is free? But I need to be home to sign for it, otherwise its returned and I am charged a restocking fee. Make this make sense. Gov't run, this is what you get. Higher prices chase ppl to neighboring states, and very limited selection.

I went up to the store on Sunday not realizing that it didn't open until 11 AM and I thought the door was accidentally locked. When I saw somebody inside they became very angry at me And just started slamming on the door showing me the time and that I was too early.. Then I had to awkwardly wait until they opened and had an unpleasant conversation with the woman to remind her. That it cost $0 to be kind. Also why are you hitting your own door? Take that rage somewhere elseWhen I was talking with somebody else who was also waiting outside, They inform me that they know this lady and intentionally know to never go to her register. Because she's a mean person. There are so many employment opportunities. There is no need to be miserable in your own job. I will be avoiding this place now on. I didn't even need to get her name because I'm very sure once management reads this, they'll now exactly who I am talking about.

Non-existent customer service. Complete apathy, as one would expect from a liquor store run by the state. I asked about the availability of an item and was told I can look that up online. I replied that I did, and it was in stock in a location near Erie. The response was that they don't have it there, I could order it online.Patience being worn, I responded that I could more easily just buy it in Maryland. Her response was a simple shoulder shrug.PA really needs to privatize the liquor stores. They drive customers to neighboring states with their lackluster selection, high prices, and disinterested staff.

They carry a good selection of spirits and hard seltzer. The best I have found is Stateside. Some of them carry a very good selection of kosher wines.
