“The strawberries ? were so fresh and sweet. With all the things that are being put in our food these days it a challenge to go to the store to shop. I appreciate the quality of your products, I'm confident in what I buy at your store. I'll be coming back. The employees were kind and helpful. My family ran grocery stores for 56 years so I appreciate your store.”
“I absolutely adore this farm stand, they have the freshest veggies and their baked goods are delicious and don’t get me started about their cheeses and pickles. I can hardly wait until they open for the spring season.”
“One of my favorite places to stop at on the weekends! The only downside to this amish market is that they are only open 3 days a week. Love getting pretzels and chicken from the vendors. They also sell the best meat from the butcher stand. They recently just changed owners of the butcher stand which gave my family the chance to eat some different cuts of meat. My family even has a shed built from the amish and bought here. It still looks brand new!, even after a couple years of sitting outside.”
“Nice place for fruits, vegetables and flowers. The people who run this are very nice.Support your local local businesses and community by shopping here.No farms = no foodThey also have other things for sale. It seems to differ from time to time, but plants, honey, and some used goods like kitchen items as well as a few decorative items.”
“Valley Mill Microgreens is literally the cream of the crop. So fresh. Love and care in every bite- so incredibly nutrient-dense. The owner puts so much care into her greens and is so knowledgeable. Totally reasonable pricing for such a high quality product. I 100% recommend all of the different greens she offers- they add so much flavor to your plate. Thank you for introducing me to microgreens and helping me be more careful about what I put in my body!”
“The first-ever Pink Parasol Project on Cherry Lane, beside the York Central Market, was started in 2017 by Denise Guilliand, a breast cancer survivor and founder of Pink Power, a nonprofit group dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness. The project is sponsored by York-based Pink Power.”
“Great local fruit and vegetable stand. Staff are friendly and treat you like extended family. The produce and fruit is top notch and much better than grocery store fare. Highly recommended.”

“Once again store was picked over; many items out of stock. The prices starting to climb, also noticed my wife's favorite beer battered fish has fallen to shrink flatiron, now only 13oz pkg. 4 stars because of good quality.”

“I wanted to take a moment to recognize one of your employees who provided exceptional service during my recent visit.
On 4/21/26, at your Giant, Pauline Dr. location, I was assisted by Carter. He went above and beyond by getting the gallon of milk I needed. The freezers to the milk were taped shut because of the painting that was being done and when I asked him if it was possible for me to get a gallon of milk, he didn’t hesitate. He stopped what he was doing and he went straight to the back and got me that gallon of milk and with a smile. I had just gotten out of orientation for a second job and I was tired and this really made my night. Companies (grocery store, retail stores) need more Carters.
I hope this feedback can be shared with him and his manager—he truly made a difference.
Thank you for maintaining such high standards. Keep up the great work Carter, you’re going to do great things.”
“A great store that offers a little bit of everything at amazing prices. I stock up on my staples: sugar, flour, eggs, butter and more! I love the cranberry sharp cheese on the Wheat thins-a good snack. The cashiers are friendly too!”
