Based on the reviews, Bucktail Medical Center is a small hospital that serves as a lifeline for the community. The care is outstanding and the staff is amazing. The physical therapy department is the best ever, and patients actually look forward to going. For a child who cut his knee, the doctor and nurse were amazing, talking him through everything and making the experience pleasant. A young man who took blood was friendly, courteous, and so good at poking the needle that it was not felt. The food is some of the best in town, served to the public at a very fair price. The ER stabilized a patient after a second stroke and decided where to transfer them, with nurses and doctors being amazing. This healthcare facility is fully engaged with the community and willing to serve each and every day.

The physical therapy department is by far the best ever!! I've had physical therapy from all over and nothing compares. I go 3 times a week and actually look forward to it. If it weren't for them I wouldn't be walking.

I had to have blood tests done & the young man who took my blood was friendly, courteous, & so good at poking the needle in that I didn't feel it.
