My scripts at Rite Aid were sent to Giant Eagle, however I like the convenience of a drive through window so that on days my chronic pain is flaring up I don't have to get out of the car. I called CVS and the wonderful woman I spoke to told me not to worry, she'd call Giant Eagle and take care of everything and when I need any new scripts to just bring them in or have my doctor's office send them in. Thank you for the good customer service.

Our transition from RiteAid to CVS has been a smooth process. Also I had a recent trip to FL and needed a script and NO problem getting it refilled. Also upon returning to PA, again no issue getting my next refill.

I found it somewhat amusing to read all the signs about tolerance and no threatening, treating others with respect, etc etc, which I completely agree with. No one should treat a cashier poorly. It's not lost on me, however, that the same courtesy and respect that is dictated for customers isn't reciprocated by the window staff.
Respect and courtesy does actually go both ways. Something to think about and train your staff on since you expect it from your customers.

It honestly depends who's working. I use insulin, and have been using the same thing for the past 25 years. How hard is it to get this right. My dosage doesn't change, my insurance has been the same for 10 years.. There is or was one guy in there that really was as dumb as a box of rocks. He couldn't understand the dosage, I did the math right in front of him, it says on the script, 2 BOXES. Yet what did I get?? 1 box...we argued for 20 minutes, and finally he admitted i was right. Why should I have to put up with this every time I refill...nothing changed so it should be so simple!!!

I went to CVS immediately after leaving urgent care and they had all three of my prescriptions ready for me. Thank you for speedy service.

I can't believe the incompetence of the pharmacist. My 11 year old lab has diabetes and has been blind for the past few years. I needed to get her medicine, but Wal-Mart didn't have it. Called a bunch of different pharmacies and they didn't have it. I ended up at CVC and they said I need a script, which btw, you don't need for the insulin. My dad was a pharmacist at Rite Aid for almost 30 years, but is retired for 3 years now. He said that the type of insulin needed doesn't need a script, but I decided to try anyhow. I was told to have my vet fax in a script and the Pharmacist rudely told me that "We close in 50 minutes, " in a tone that I can only describe as arrogant and snooty. Called the vet and they sent it in. Now when I go back inside to get it, they tell me that the vet didn't send their DEA number (mind you this is insulin for my dog and not some narcotic. ) so back to the phones I went, only to be reminded that THEY CLOSE SOON. Got that taken care of. Went back in one last time only to be told they don't even have the medication I needed. He suggested I go to Giant Eagle because they had a "larger pharmacy." I was also told that they would send the script over. I make it to GE by 10 til 7 and the pharmacist, Scott, called them and CVS said they would send the script right over. Well, a half hour later, 20 minutes after CVS closed, it was safe to say that was just another lie they told. Scott at Giant Eagle was so helpful. My dog had a few accidents on the carpet and I'm sure, a miserable time. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They were awful all around. I can forgive and forget, but you made my furry daughter sick and that I cannot forgive nor forget.

Google reviews accurately show just how bad the pharmacy customer experiences are and I can but add too them. They will keep loosing business if they don't change thing's. Taken my business elsewhere. Don't recommend CVS. Prices are also much higher than average.

The pharmacist at the Johnstown store was extremely rude. I will not ever get another prescription filled there again. I went to pick up a perception that was called in yesterday. It had to be ordered. I went the next day pick it up, it was not ready but expected to come in later that day. I gave them my insurance # and i also told them that it would probably be cheaper with good rx and gave that # as well. When i found out the cost i ask if they used the good rx? I knew it was less expensive with that. They told me no. Wanted the numbers again. I did not have my phone with me at the time it was in my car. The pharmacist replied very rudely. Well we close in 3 minutes so either pay that price or you will have to get It tomorrow. Keep in mind It is a narcotic that can not be filled before it is time. And I should have taken it that day. To be that rude is uncalled for.

This particular CVS had greatly improved. They got more help in the pharmacy so for the most part the lines are not going down the aisle. All employees are Kind, helpful, extremely hardworking yet professional. This has been my store since day 1 and I really appreciate them. I am not related to any of them yet we know each others name. Great job all around!!

If you want any type of vaccine at this CVS location, save yourself time and make an appointment. They pick and choose when they want to accommodate walk-ins. The pharmacist was rude and had terrible customer service manners. Very disappointed and never going to CVS again for anything.
