The Royal Inn is a small, older hotel from the 70s-era that retains its original charm and old school value. The building is very well maintained. The rooms are dated, clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable, though some furnishings like mattresses can be old and uncomfortable. The bar and restaurant are original and charming, with a surprisingly extensive menu. The food receives mixed reviews; some items like stuffed mushrooms and haddock are excellent, big, and delicious, while others like prime rib bites and inconsistently cooked crab legs are not great. The staff is consistently described as fantastic, sweet, and attentive. Overall, it is considered a delightful discovery with great potential, though some significant issues with sleep comfort and food consistency are noted.
Stayed there last night while on a motorcycle trip. The building may be older, but it is very well maintained. My room was very clean. The food was very good and the staff was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again.

Small hotel. Rooms are like something from 50 years ago. Need a real key for the room. No hair dryers in room. Portable heaters and air conditioners.
