This old mill was pretty cool. It's still in working order and the guide even turned the machines on for our group to see! Parking is a little tight. I parked on the other side of the road by the park. There is also is the house they grew up and lived in to tour. Just a neat way to travel back in time and see how people lived. Definitely recommend. There also isn't a entry fee not sure if they ask for donations. I wasn't asked when I was there. Kid friendly.

A gem of a museum situated in the Lancaster countryside. The docents are well informed and welcome questions

Very cool and interesting history! The guides were so thorough and nice and answered all our questions, you really do have to come back to learn even more.
You don’t think it’d be super interesting (at least I didn’t) but the stories and history are worth learning.
I won’t spoil anything-just come see for yourself!

We had a great informative visit. They had multiple tour guides for both the mill and the house and were great story tellers. My kids 6, 8, and 11 really enjoyed, and it was free!

Very knowledgeable guides and the tour is free. We spent about an hour learning about the family and history of the mill. Fun to see the mill grind corn and the guides were very good at engaging and answering questions!

A great site, one of our favorite parts of our trip. The docents were knowledgeable and friendly, and it was great to learn some of the history and see the mill actually working. The tour of the mill and the house only takes 1 to 1 1/2 hours, and it's completely free so definitely find time to check it out if you're in the area. Just check the hours because they don't run tours every day.
