I was in need of toiletries and paper towels tissues toilet paper etc. I left with nothing. I was not treated with dignity and felt judged. I'm a 65 year old widow raising my 3 grandchildren. I've been struggling for the past year. my husband was sick for a long time before his passing so all our resources have been stretched to the maximum. I'm still paying for the funeral. I am working and came into work early and left early so I could comply with their hours. Life has been so hard and they made it worse. Shame on them I guess it's ok if you want to buy things

When I first started patronizing Open Door, I thought that their prices were certainly along the lines of a thrift shop. No longer. This establishment is neither Christian- nor humankind-based. Karen, the woman who runs this operation, lies and deceives people. She only hires those who she 'likes', and she comes from the upper elite who have no idea of what poverty entails. Don't let her pretty blue eyes fool you. Candy complains about her job and the people she works with but when offered another job will not take it and leave Open Door...what's up with that? Faith fashions is neither faithful nor fashionable, and they deceive just as much as Open Door (they are one and the same). I found it amusing how one employee will complain that the other employee over prices items, then she will change the price... I imagine that is what they do all day long. There are a few very nice people who work there...or rather slave there as dictated by the local district judge. This group is clearly dysfunctional. From what I have heard, the food pantry they run Mondays and Thursdays is great if you like spoiled, moldy food.

I actually drop off a lot of donations there to help my neighbors. I do like to occasionally go through and see what they have they always have a huge selection of stuff that is not junk but instead of being thrown out it’s great. For people in dire straits they have bread and pies that they give out one per family if you need it that is so great I’m glad we have this in our community

The photos that I have posted are of the “Sister Store” next door( to Open Door Ministry), called “ FaithFashions”. You get to experience name brands , but on a budget. It’s a sweet little shop, with unusual items and rare finds. What fun! Super staff ,too.
