“The cheapest beer distributor in the Cheswick, Harmarville, Russelton area. Good hours, friendly staff, lottery tickets and smokes. Great location. In shopping center with a Shop n Save grocery store, a State Store, Foxes Pizza, Chinese take out (Spare Ribs Phenomenal), a laundry mat and its all an ATV friendly area.”
“Wow. Beer nerds, I have found a gem for you. This is the best variety I've ever found, let alone in such a small place. Skill level expert. The first cooler as you walk in is full of craft Pennsylvania beer. The interior shelves hold a delightful and thorough variety of imports and other craft finds. The owner even invites you to make requests. Seriously, I was just passing through and may have never realized this place existed. You're doing yourself a favor if you make a point to stop.”
“Hartwood Beer is amazing! It’s so well-organized and the gentleman working was extremely kind and helpful. When the flavor of beer I wanted didn’t come in a 6-pack, he was nice enough to open a box and sell me 6 cans. I will definitely be returning!”
“Born and raised in PA so the State Store is all I've known. Clean, professional and reliable. My only complaint is the silly and bad liquors don't make the cut. I like some random wacky stuff to mix it up. That's their problem is the selection is only good things, nothing weird and gross! LOL”

Edit: I made this review a while ago but wanted to reiterate that this place is the only place to go for your beer needs. Prices are fair, service is exceptional. Management has made this place an 11 out of 10. Great job and continued success always. See you soon.”

“This location in the Hillcrest Shopping Plaza is good for your basic needs. It had a bit of a musty smell, but you're not going to be in here for hours browsing rows and rows of wines and liquors. Get in, get your Jack, and get out!The woman working was amazing as she asked if we were looking for anything in particular. We were and they didn't have it, and she looked on the computer to see where we might be able to find it. I'm obsessed with Lime Yuzu fever tree and wanted a friend to try it. Community Market next door didn't have it either. I bet if Hills was still here, they'd have it. Hills has the Hits! LPs and Cassettes!!! There's another store close by in Lower Burrell which is an "upper scale" store, but they're also not winning any awards for their vast selection. Not bad for a small town store, though.”

“A shout out to the hardest working and most philanthropic beer distributor in Western Pennsylvania. They have donated thousands of cans of beer to a nonprofit I volunteer for, this is a great organization. They also carry amazing brews, just every craft brewery that you know and love. They have been in Millvale since 1933, which means they have survived multiple floods and one fire, and still they are loyal to Millvale, which means a lot to that community.”
“The owners are great! Always taking requests for newer beverages. They have tastings sporadically throughout the month so you can try something you wouldn’t normally buy and see if you like it. Great place to start your weekend off right. ;-)”

“Only reason I’m giving this five stars is so that people see it at the top. They sell out of date beer. If you go to buy any beer, make sure it’s in date because they did not. Bought 4 cases of beer only to go home and have it taste really bad so I looked at the date and sure enough it was out of date. Will not be shopping here again”

“I’ve been going to the Fine Wine and Good Spirits in New Kensington regularly for over 3 years now and staff is always so willing to help, especially Ken aka “K-dawg”. He goes above and beyond to help customers, even going as far as getting products in at customers request. I truly enjoy seeing him when I make my trips. Excellent customer service!!”

“This might just be the smallest Wine and Spirits in Allegheny county. Just the same, they have a decent variety and you'll find most of what you're looking for. Just don't go looking for things that are exclusive to the premium collection stores and your expectation will be met. Bota box, yes. Jameson whiskey, yes. Suntory Toki even, yes. Saki, no for the most part. German resiling, mostly no. I'm sure you get the idea. Look for the standards, they'll have most. Look for something special, they won't have it.”
“Their beer selection and inventory are not as good as they were originally. The closing of the Beer Nutz pub in Aspinwall seems to have negatively affected them. But, it's still good. I haven't run into anything dusty in inventory. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.”

While It’s not near my home, I will definitely be stopping again planning ahead. Not too many places stock Dales Pale Ale, thrilled that they had it. Even helped carry out to my car!”
