I trusted them to know whether the services they provided met the limitations set by my insurance since they were in my network. Was that a mistake. When I went for my follow up, they surprised me by telling me I had an $800 balance despite me making it a point that cost was a factor and I didn't want services that weren't covered (like that $300 toothbrush they try to get everyone to buy). The woman at the front desk suggested I max out my credit card to pay the balance and insisted I do so BEFORE speaking with my insurance. She was very rude. Only giving two stars because I feel bad giving one star to the dentist who was kind and did nice work. I will not be going back.

I saw the dentist for about 2 mins, he looked at my xrays and by that told me I had no cavities. He poked around my teeth for 10 seconds, said Im showing signs of gum disease and said he'd get the dental hygienist. She then poked around my gums for about 2 mins and then sent me to get a special gum treatment scheduled and talk with the financial people. Got an appt the next day for this gum treatment for $5000 ( 3,000 with my insurance)
I got home, overwhelmed, and called one other dentist in the area and asked what they would charge for that and they told me no where near that price and asked if I was seen with aspen dental. Evidently this was not the first time they experienced the price gouging from Aspen.
I was warned before I went about the unchanging, but I thought I would give the benefit of the doubt. Will not return

A small cavity and a deep cleaning only 2400$ after insurance? Um no thanks 😐 these dentist kno deep clean isn't covered by most insurance because it's a scam. I listen to hygienist give same speech word for word in next room about how they need deep cleaning omg 😲 lastly I get a 2000$ cap with my dental plan that's 2 grand I leave on the table every year I just don't go because these dentist are greedy it's a free 2000 every year and they want to charge more on top for Floride rinses and other scams lol I'm not afraid of the drill I'm afraid of the bill

Arrived on time for a 8:30 am appointment. Waited 2 hours before being called back. Gave me a quote for $11,000 recomending 2 extractions. Then a week later sent me a 25% off coupon. Since when does the medical field offer coupons. I got a 2nd opinion, teeth do not need extraction. Aspen is looking for a payout with as little work as possible.

Staff was great! Waiting time was like 20 min. Explanation of procedure was great. The problem was and is that they would rather PULL the tooth and do very costly bridges than REPAIR the tooth!! My mom went to a dentist in Brigantine N.J. 20 years ago, that dentist said "NEVER PULL A TOOTH"!!! That dentist was right! So....get a 2nd opinion if Aspen Dental tells you they want to pull a tooth.
