its okay. the steak absolutely sucks tho i wouldnt recommend getting any meat from here. all and all friedmans much was better.

Great family owned grocery store who puts great focus on its community! I’ll proudly shop and support a small grocer in our neighborhood! They keep our family’s fed and support our community PLUS host amazing events like Octoberfest and Pre-Mingles to support other small businesses in our community as well. Doug and his family are top notch and we are lucky to have them in our small town.

I was at the Octoberfest with my children. Wasn't a children oriented atmosphere. I miss the arts festival and our quiet little town. Why are you even here Mr. Sprankle are you here to push alcohol because I do understand that is your business. I don't like what your attempting to do but I can almost guarantee you that it's not going to become East Carson St. In the Southside of Pittsburgh. Why don't you go back to Cranberry open a strip club or whatever else you need to do to make money off the backs of innocent people. We need to make Saxonburg great again!!!!

I’ve enjoyed Spankles,but I’ve enjoyed the art festival more. You’ve muscled in and gotten the art festival cancelled because of your October fest, which I’ve been to. Which is overpriced and the food there was disgusting. I ended up throwing it away last year. Plus I wonder why your employees aren’t aloud to show their ankles at wirk( deli , understand) but the women at work have to their bosoms, I do know I’m boycotting your store. You could have made your octoberfest in OCTOBER

I think this store is great for the community.What bothers me is how much of a casino it seems to want to be.I don’t gamble, but I do eat sushi.The group of unpleasant folks waiting for tickets at the lottery machine by the sushi was off putting.I’ll look for other sources.

I moved to Saxonburg about a year ago. This is a home town grocery store. Everyone is super friendly, and they do a great job in having events that support the community.
