We made a HUGE mistake by going with Kennedy's for our new pool filter. First of all, when they first came out, we wanted them to help assemble and start it up for us. They could only assemble it but couldn't do anything else because of the way the old filter basket fit through the deck--we had to remove some boards on our own to get everything to fit just right. Fine, we did as they asked us. We asked them to please come back and see that we had everything cut right, fit, etc and please make sure everything is in proper working order before we do anything else. They never came back. We called a few times and patiently waited over 2 months---keep in mind we paid for the whole startup in May which included the new filter plus installation. Had we known we had to do everything on our own to begin with, we would have just gone and picked it up ourselves. Fast forward 2 months---we now have a leak in the pump seal between the motor and the filter! The whole reason we wanted someone out here to help us in the first place was so this didn't happen. So we cleaned out the cartridge, rinsed everything out---they finally come out to fix the pump seal and they wind up jamming the cartridge back into the filter so that it now won't come out, and was all all bent. We wound up having to the whole center piece out with the cartridge and return to Kennedy's at 7am before anyone went out on call because nobody would come to our home to fix this--they denied ever doing this and said they never touched our filter. WE HAD THE CARTRIDGE CLEANED OUT AND ON THE LAWN WHEN THEY ARRIVED---THEY JAMMED IT BACK IN AND DAMAGED IT. We spoke to both receptionists about this and were met with denial and them placing the blame on us, as if we made all this up! They were less than friendly or understanding. Kennedy's did replace the cartridge they damaged at no cost--and that is why they are even getting 1 star on here. 2 weeks later, the pump seal has blown again--we called back and they refused to even offer to come out to check it for us, saying we needed to unhook everything from the filter and bring it in ourselves. Again, they were confrontational on the phone, and not willing to accept responsibility for their lack of quality control. A brand new filter should work for more than a few weeks at a time! Each time they have been out, something else has subsequently happened. (Incidentally, we called another company about this and they said no problem--we'll get someone out to look at it). Furthermore, they charged us $171 for less than 30 minutes on a $19 part--and the job not done correctly. When I spoke to the receptionist on the phone the last time--I asked her how they could not stand by their name--she assured me they did--and I said if you cared enough about your customers you'd send someone out to help us fix what should not have needed to be fixed in the first place---we will NEVER recommend Kennedy's to anyone nor will we ever go back there. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The person working the front desk was very unfriendly, and when we asked him a question he was short with answering out questions and rushed us out. We got home and none of the pool supplies we bought worked for our pool. So tomorrow we're going to have to take everything back, which I hope they will give us refund. I'd give no stars but that's not an option on here. Staff are rude and prices are crazy expensive!

I know it's late in the season, but I have been having so many issues with my pool water. I had it tested twice in 2 days and I think we finally got it! The staff went above and beyond to help figure the problem out! I will be back! thank you so much!

Great personnel with knowledge of pools , I have had a pool for 40 years and they have always been there for me. I've delt with many other dealers and never found the same satisfaction as I have with them I'd rate them 5 star.

They were very kind at first and answered all our questions. We hired them to put a liner and filter in our pool. They did a great job. A couple weeks later the liner started floating. They told me it was because of ground water. I questioned it quite a bit, knowing we have drainage on both sides of the pool. A few weeks after that the lines weren't working correctly. They came out and one of the lines had collapsed. They put in a new line but said they couldn't finish installing it because of the water. They said to call when the water dried up. It did not dry up and we noticed it went up and down with the level of water in the pool. I tried to call them about this but they refused to listen to me. I had to have another pool company come out and assess the problem. They said that the water behind my liner was pool water and the water in the hole was also pool water. The line that Kennedy pools was trying to use to replace the original line was not going to hold up to the pressure of the pool running properly and would eventually blow out. Kennedy pools refused to come out again or to return my calls so we have started the process of getting a lawyer since our pool liner has been ruined and the pool lines not working properly, meant we couldn't keep it clean and spent so much money on chemicals. It was not used at all last year and the year before we only got a month of use. It has been a nightmare. We are quoting out what it is going to cost to fix everything and then our lawyer will be in contact with them. I am so upset at their professional mannerism. This could have been avoided if they had come out and listened to what I was saying instead of ignoring me and saying it was ground water and not even checking.
