I stopped by Sturzen Furniture to look at a recliner. I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection and price range.Jim was very informative and patient with me. I'm sure I tried out at least a dozen different sizes and styles.I found the perfect size leather power recliner, with adjustable lumbar support and headrest.I had a great experience, and I highly recommend Sturzen Furniture.I can't wait to have my recliner delivered.

Only furniture store I’ll go to in this area. Family owned and operated. Couldn’t ask for better customer service and they really know their industry! We moved back to the area a couple years ago and the majority of our furniture is from here. Having a couple small children I can attest to the fantastic quality of their furniture they sell as well. My husband also bought a piece of their fine wall art that I’d mentioned I really liked for Mother’s Day. It’s an all around fantastic local business that knows how to treat their customers and their community.

We ordered a sectional in September. We were told multiple times that it was the correct facing chaise, and that it was still being processed by the manufacturer. However, after waiting nearly 5 months for our furniture, which is understandable because of covid, we were told our sectional had arrived. Only one piece had arrived and it was the wrong direction. We have been without a couch for weeks sense we were told it was here. Today they delivered the wrong chaise to go along with the wrong sofa. When we asked how we could fix their mistake we were told to “deal with it” and that they took responsibility for ordering the wrong couch but they would do nothing to fix the situation. After being toldMultiple times it was their fault and they had not ordered the right couch, we then received a call from them stating that they never admitted to any fault. They then wrote a forged receipt with the sectional parts that they ordered on it to cover their tracks. Crooks.

I walked in yesterday wanting to get a sectional and rocker recliner. The lady asked me if she could help me, I told her what I was wanting and she said, we don't have that but can order it. Before I could ask any questions she walked away. Towards another worker, near the back completely ignoring me. I walked by the front desk and the woman there acted like I was non-existent. Well I know the gentleman that owned Sturzens, was proud of that place. I believe he's rolling in his grave watching ignorance in his business! I went to Elmira and got what I wanted, with courtesy!!

Love this place had so many selections. There is even a 6 month lay away which is great and helps some one with low income like me and the workers are nice as well. I highly recommend this place to ANYONE!

If I could give zero stars I would wanted to shop local and their customer service was lousy to say the least. Took mom to look for a bed and living room sets no would help just looking at paperwork so walked out and told them they lost a really big sale as they said we are busy and finally asked if they could help but by then it was way to late. We will never go in that store again.
