7/12/25 We drove to sayer approximately 45 from our local tractor supply because when we called and asked if they had 8ft cattle panels they said they did not but they had 16 foot cattle panels that THEY could cut for us any length we needed. We arrived and found the panels purchased 3 of them and then was told to go outside to the “garage door” didn’t state it was an emergency entrance/exit didn’t say someone would come out nothing. So we found the door and knocked and the MANAGER Tonya came out screaming at us that knocking could set off their alarm. Blew that off, then we said we needed them to cut them to the 8 foot sections that they told us they could and she again screamed at us saying that we had to have our own tool and needed to cut them ourselves that it was a liability. So we tried to explain that they said they would over the phone and she said “idk who told you that but we don’t do that!” I said since you want to be rude we are returning these and going to go elsewhere. She said that’s perfect for me have a nice day! I said yep. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A TRACTOR SUPPLY; I will not be returning and will no longer purchase from tractor supply!

This is my first time at Tractor Supply in Sayre , Pa. I normally go to the Wysox, Pa branch and have ALWAYS been treated with respect and patience. I was buying a product that I thought would cost $100 for a Bark Collar for my very anxious pup whom I love dearly.
When arriving at the counter the associate started ringing me up and I was told by the customer assistant in the back that I would have to ask up front, so o did. MJ got a bit exasperated with me and I said well I’d like to know how this item was going to affect my dog and MJ exclaimed that she didn’t know! I said well can we find out?
The next thing I know, I was being disciplined and she said she essentially has been working in customer service for what added up to 6 years. I said “my dear, I worked for Amtrak in Philly selling tickets for 25 years and worked at the Philly airport for 10 and other jobs handling people since I was 14. I’m now 71 and I realize that it got busy, but I handled thousands of dollars on a daily basis, and never did i disapline a customer.
She really did her best and to help me but the manager also jumped in and started in on me.
I just said let’s move on please.
We finished our transaction and I was pleased to see that the price was lower than I expected.
Perhaps I was upset initially, but so was my dog and so was MJ.
Sensitivity training is necessary at this store.

Altho their prices are somewhat higher they cushion that with great customer service. That and the fact that I've always had good results with whatever product I bought their. Never had a problem.

This store gets the worst review because of the entrance and exit to the complex. This is a huge safety concern, as I was almost hit for about the 5th time. Something needs to be done before somebody is harmed. I even went out of my way to contact the complex maintenance owned by Sayre Development LLC. And was told they are not required and will not do nothing to resolve this issue. Hopefully this complaint will rattle some cages and something will be done.
