Dropped off return. Was told it needed to be secured properly or it would be $1.00. I secured the package with the tape already on the box, was told “it’s still not secure”, but was handed the return receipt. Getting back in my vehicle I thought to be on the safe side (unsure the return) I’d better take in the $1.00(I took in $1.25, you know, tax and what not) I’m glad I did. Upon entering-the was my package, thrown behind the counter on the floor, product separated. I’m guessing the person was the owner? I’ll share the information and documentation with those who need to know.

I went in with a large package to return to Amazon and was a bit concerned about the process. The gentleman who helped me made this experience a non issue by taking the package immediately and assuring me I was all set. Printed me a receipt and I was on my way in literally 3 minutes.

If you like getting yelled at and having your receipt tossed at you for asking if they could bill the tape cost to Amazon as it was their mistake. Nick their front service rep yelled and refused to assist me after several attempts to refocus him to professionalism, his coworker deb stepped in to assist. After he walked away yelling at me.
Telling me ‘tape isn’t free’
I would give a 1 star but deb was professional and explained such thing is unable to be charged to Amazon. Completely disgusted

Surprisingly, it was not crowded on a weekend. They have a separate self scan & and drop-off station for returns, which is nice. But it does not print receipts. So you won't have any proof of drop off.
Heads Up! They will charge you for re-taping, even one side of your box. None of the other UPS stores do. New ways to make some more bucks..
Hope they close both these gaps & take a step towards perfection.

The customer service at the Sayre, PA store is amazing. Every time I go in to request copies, the sales representatives are so helpful and friendly. UPS store is now my go-to place for printing photos, cards, labels etc…

I wish I didn't even have to give this place 1 star. So yesterday I went in with a package I needed delivered next day. I had it all bought and paid for through my shopify account, but forgot the label at my business 20 minutes away and it was now after 5pm and i needed this package to go out. For those that don't know, shopify is an e commerce platform. Shopify and other e commerce sites (ebay, etsy, ect) gives great business rates compared to the retail shipping prices you pay in store. I walked into the store and asked if they could check and let me know the shipping price if I purchased one there instead figuring I could just cancel the other I purchased online once I got the package out. The cost in store was over $80 for a 1.5lb envelope. On shopify I paid $33. So I asked the younger shorter gentleman (didn't get his name) if they had a printer I could print out my shopify label as it was much cheaper for me to go that route. He told me they didn't have a printer for customers to use but I could download the label and send it to his email and he would print it out for me. The taller man, who I later found out, was the "owner", Andrew Hughes, said, are you on the ups website? I said no, my shopify account. He rudely said, oh well I can't help you then, email it. So I did, and the shorter nice man printed it out and we placed it on my package. As soon as the "owners" (andrews) customer walked out the door, andrew came right over in my face and yelled, WE ARENT HERE TO FIND YOU COUPONS! ITS NOT OUR JOB TO FIND YOU COUPONS! I said, I didn't ask you to find me coupons, im using my shopify. He then yelled again. DO YOU NOT REALIZE THIS IS A RETAIL STORE?! I said yes, but you offer service to take prepaid packages and I bring packages in here every week. He then said to me, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I was shocked! I immediately started yelling back, I am not using coupons, I didn't ask you to find me coupons, I am using my shopify, I am a business that does hundreds of 1,000s a year in business and I use ups all the time with my vendors and to ship to my customers. He repeats himself yelling, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I then said I am turning you in to corporate. I walked out forgetting to get his name. So I walked back in and said, oh, what's your name? He said, here this will be even better, let me get you a card. He fumbles through the drawer, get his hard and flicks it at me and screams again, GO AHEAD CALL THEM , THEY WONT DO ANYTHING, CALL THEM, BE MY GUEST! omg I was !!! I walked out, called him a dick and flipped him off. I forgot something on the counter and this time, my 6 foot 2 husband walked back in to get it and both men put their heads down and didnt say a word to him. Mind you, i was alone in the store when this happened while my husband waited in the car. A 5 ft 125lb woman who i guess andrew felt he could bully. I did call corporate, and I did complain, they did file the complaint and also told me, he is not listed as the owner, but someone else is with the same last name, so maybe daddy actually owns the store? Or big brother? Maybe. Someone needs to give Andrew a lesson on customer service and whats expected as a ups store "owner". I dont know, but this was by far the worst I have ever in my life been treated as a customer. They have a contract with ups to take prepaid packages. They are a drop off location. They should treat all customers, whether retail or business with dignity and respect. Afterthought, I wish I would have pulled my phone out and recorded the whole thing and blasted him all over social media!

Everytime I go there tends to be someone beyond rude. Where it be the manner they talk to you or the way they provide your service. There had been one woman in particular that every time I've been there has been rude while I'm trying to do amazon returns.

I live in an upstairs apt and cannot hear knocking so I have a doorbell with a large sign. The carrier doesn't seem to know how to use one. I almost always miss the first delivery attempt. In order to get the second attempt I have to sit on my porch, in the cold and wait. Although the first notice said next day delivery would be between 2 and 8 pm, I got "failed second attempt" at 12 pm. Tried calling local ups... only number I could find...employee was rude abrupt and said to call 800 number. While trying to get that number, the Sayre, Pa. Employee became very rude said it must not be a UPS shipment because they don't deliver on Saturday. Also said I had called a retail location and never to call there with questions ever again. This shipment is a medical device and is shipped to me every two weeks. I know a signature is required. Just PLEASE use the doorbell. I am home 98% of the time. And when you give a delivery time such as between noon and five, pleas arrive during that time frame.
