JAM Rec Center is a 100-foot X 100-foot building along Route 183 in Wayne Twp. owned and managed by Bethesda E.C. Church which features a large, versatile, wood-floor gymnasium. The facility has enough space to accommodate a basketball court, indoor soccer, or alternately, two volleyball courts or two pickleball courts at a given time and is available to rent. This project was made possible by a substantial endowment from James L. Miller, president of Miller Bros. Construction Inc., the lead contractor. The name of the facility, the JAM Rec Center, was taken from the initials of the late James A. Miller, the father of Miller Bros. co-founders James L. and Bill Miller.
