“I contacted Harry B. at Exhibit B to create a small painting as a gift for my mom, and the experience was truly special. She grew up in the Johnston area in a home her father built with his own hands...a place that served as their family home on one floor and a town grocery store on the other.

Harry took the time to ask all the right questions and even did his own research to understand the history of the once-bustling coal mining town, the families who lived block by block, and the sense of community that made the place so meaningful. In many ways, we went on a journey together to better understand the significance of my grandparents’ home and the surrounding area.

One really funny moment during the process...while Harry was working, he happened to be watching an episode of a larger-than-life documentary series....spotted someone wearing a T-shirt from this tiny town’s high school. What are the odds? AND.. it speaks to the research he did. Super impressed!!!

The final piece was absolutely beautiful. My mom was smitten and genuinely touched by it. While the house itself may eventually be sold, Harry created something lasting...an heirloom that preserves the memory and heart of that sweet little blue home.

“My husband and I got married at La Massaria at Bella Vista in early June, and we truly could not have been happier with our experience. From the very first visit, we knew it was the right venue for us. The property is absolutely beautiful and checked every box on our wedding venue wish list. The outdoor (and indoor if needed) ceremony space was stunning, the downstairs bar area for cocktail hour was the perfect size for our guests, and the reception space was gorgeous. We were especially grateful for the cocktail hour setup when it started pouring rain immediately after our ceremony ended—everything transitioned seamlessly, and our guests were comfortable and able to enjoy themselves.

Patrick, Denise, Jeni, and the entire staff were incredible to work with. They provided so much support throughout our planning journey and during the wedding weekend itself, which made the entire experience less stressful. They were always available to answer my many questions and were consistently knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional. All the food was outstanding as well, and we received many compliments from our guests.

“We held my daughter’s bridal shower in the Eagle Room this weekend and it was perfect! The space was perfect for the size of our party and I received compliments from everyone on the delicious food- we had the brunch menu. “Steve and his assistant John are fantastic. They truly want you to have fun when you are there. The upgraded simulators are super clear and even more accurate than the ones they replaced. Multiple TV's, a bar with food & nice ladies serving it. Everything you need for a great night out.”

“I attended a birthday party here but also helped with set up and breakdown.

The venue is not visible from the road as its hidden behind the 7Eleven and pizzeria. A private parking lot fits a good amount of cars. It’s a single level hall with a separate reception area up front and a windowless dining area thereafter. I’d guesstimate it can fit around 200 people.

Set up started the night before but continued the next day about 3 hours prior to the party. Being July, it was very muggy out and the a/c was either on at a high temp or not on at all, so setting up was uncomfortable. The tile floors were also very slippery - a result of the a/c’s temp it tuns out, as after it was on at a normal temp, the slipperiness dissipated.

They have 10-seater rounds, high tops, chairs, a bar space and WiFi. I was told there was no stove or oven to warm things up which would’ve been helpful.”

“I met my Spring Hollow Golf league friends for Brunch today.
As always, the food was delicious.
We started by sharing the Creme Brule French Toast. It was fantastic.
3 of us had the Tempura Fried Eggs.
They are a perfectly cooked soft egg, then it is dipped in a Tempura batter and fried. When you cut into them the yolk is still perfect, they are served over a Tomato, Braised Leek Herb Cream Sauce. They are delicious.
The other two ladies had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and the Classic Eggs Benedict which they both enjoyed.
All of us enjoyed the Mimosas.
If you haven't been here, you have to try it. You won't be disappointed whether it is Brunch, Lunch or Dinner.”

“I haven't seen smoking bars since pre COVID but walking into this place for the first time to see a metal show and seeing I could have a drink and smoke a cigarette while watching the Phil's between bands was one of my highlights of this past year. Long live the Polish club ??????”

“Just spent the weekend at Hotel Fiesole. Was recommended to stay there by a family member as I am not local and had a nearby function to attend. I was not disappointed, I found everything from my room, restaurant food and staff to be exceptional. I will definitely try to make it back!”

“We used this hotel for our rehearsal dinner, after party, and hotel block and had a great experience.

After touring a few hotels we decided to choose this one because of the warm welcome we received! The staff answered each of our questions and when our event came, it lived up to every expectation we had.

The rooms were clean, the members of staff were kind to our guests, and the front desk answered so many questions at all times of the night and truly made our stay memorable.

With our events at the hotel, the staff helped us set up and clean up AND store everything we asked until we left.

“A recent visit to Spring Hollow never fails to please! Tho they would prefer a 'busier' time, we love to pop in on a little less busier and off time and enjoy the quieter atmosphere that almost puts you at home but with great food and service. Got to meet Tootsie! and chat with our favorite owner/manager Debbie who makes a point of remembering and renewing a friendship even after a long time seeing you. Would highly recommend and without hesitation , working with Debbie to host and plan an event at SHGC. We have had several. They aim to please! Thank you for many special moments!”
