“I want to give a shoutout to Hughart’s Meat Market in Saylorsburg. I buy my meat here over ShopRite and here’s what I notice. I saved hundreds in 2025 buying my meat here vs ShopRite

1.) Ground chicken breast is way cheaper at Hugharts. $3 per pound vs $6.99 at ShopRite
2.) Ground beef is beautiful at Hugharts. No coloring dyes, meat last longer, meat taste better, meat is healthier. At ShopRite sometimes the meat will be a grayish color and most likely comes from many different cows processed at the same time
3.) Hugharts has a great variety of other meats, including deli meat and local foods
4.) freezer savings. They sell freezer packs with a variety of meats that is WAY cheaper then shoprite when it comes to savings.
5.) you’re supporting local buying your meats there.

We all need to be using our local butchers more. I promise you the quality and savings is there 🙏”
