Honestly, our experience at Great Wolf Lodge was incredibly disappointing. For the price we paid, we expected a higher level of service and cleanliness. The rooms felt worn down and weren’t as clean as we’d hoped. We found leftover food crumbs in the corners, and the bathrooms didn’t feel properly sanitized.
The waterpark was overcrowded to the point where it was hard to enjoy anything. Lines for the slides were outrageously long, and there was barely any room to move around in the pool areas. To make things worse, there were times when lifeguards seemed distracted, which made us feel unsafe.
The food was expensive and very average at best. For the cost of meals at the lodge, we expected better quality and more variety, but it was mostly bland and overpriced.
Overall, it felt like they prioritized squeezing money out of guests over providing a memorable family experience. We definitely won’t be returning and would suggest looking elsewhere for a family vacation spot.

Rooms: Highly suggest the villas if you’re going in a group it’s worth it they are stunning and very relaxing with a lot of space to spread out and enjoy!

Been to this location many time, always a great time but this time was horrible. Ladybug infestation in room had to move.
Due to entitled family our cabana was taken, didn't get new one that was properly stocked till 330 pm.
Next morning park didn't open till 915.
Almost everything for entertainment now closes at 8pm.

We come once a year for my son. He comes exclusively to play Magiquest since he is not a big water park fan. It has been and still is his favorite place to visit and he looks forward to it all year round. However after this past visit Magiquest is starting to show its age. There are 4 trees for boss fights and such. 1 tree the speakers didn’t work at all so you can’t hear anything. Another had half the speakers working so dialogue but no music. Another had a set up message blocking a large portion of the screen. The only 1 that worked was very quiet and hard to hear. Probably bad speakers again. And the final chest that you get to open after finally beating the game. Did not open and we tried many times. It still registered and we were able to complete the game but my son was pretty disappointed because he always looks forward to opening to final chest.
I still recommend coming here. He has a great time and the staff is amazing and ton of fun things for kids to do. Just hope magiquest gets some love.

Had a great time. Water Park was great. Plenty of things to do. Rooms were very clean. Will be back for sure.

Based on our prior experience while renovations were occurring I expected this visit to be a bit better, but it only was less chaotic due to no more work taking place. While the water park is fun and all it is definitely showing it's age. The hanging drapery underneath the water slides does little to hide the actual oxidation of the metal and chipping of the paint beneath, in fact, so much so that you are able to see the white staining on said drapery. The towel sign in/sign out is a joke and becomes fraudulent activity on the credit card and a nuisance. Maybe have QR tags on said towels and allow guests to perform their own check ins. We are in the 21st century anyway.
The app sucks to order anything and God forbid your stay changes then you can't even order anything using said app.
The magi quest is pretty much the same at the perryville location and had the sales person told me after I said I completed the perryville quest I would have never purchased it again. Why pay for the same thing at a different place? Not worthwhile in my opinion.
All-in-all it felt like I was there to upgrade the next thing they had to offer, not simply enjoy the last.

I don't like how they add the $20 self parking fee per night AFTER you check in at the resort. Not before when booking online.
When I book a resort online, I like it when I see all my fees and taxes added together in total. So the total when u book this place is not the actual total ?

Really like this place. Kids love it, too. Enthralling scavenger hunt, fun water rides
The food in the lodge is overpriced and not good. Everything tastes like creosote/smoked paprika and costs a small fortune. There is a great and affordable family diner next door (kids though they stepped into a time machine), a delicious Jamaican place 5 mins North, and Pho 5 minutes north of that - so location for food is surprisingly good
Rooms: Spacious and appealing with cute kids cabin.
Nearby activities: Better Food options than we expected, skiing, camelback, gun ranges, poconos outlets
Safety: Very safe
Walkability: Rooms are a long walk, but good excercise
Food and drinks: Drinks are ok, food is not good. They need to do better.
Noteworthy details: Magiquest is interesting and a top-tier scavenger hunt that forces kids to get excercise

Very beautiful location, heart of pocono. Rooms are very big, clean and comfortable. Great deals including indoor water park passes. Great family place. Just room service requires more attention.

Horrible experience…We got overcharged for 2 more nights which is nearly $300! I’ve been calling them for nearly 2 weeks and still haven’t got my money back! We had 2 separate bookings and we asked the front desk to connect these 2 bookings when we check-in so we don’t have to move to another room during the 4 nights stay. They told us everything is set but our waistbands were locked 3 TIMES during the stay, we had to wait outside the room in wet bath suits, my kids were freezing! Each time husband had to go down to the front desk to explain that we have 2 separate bookings and we are staying 4 nights in total, and we still got double charged!! They charged us 6 nights! This is just ridiculous…The management is beyond terrible.

We just did the day pass and didn't stay at the hotel. The water park was clean and the staff seemed to be on top of everything.

Perfect get away weekend location, place is kept clean, surprisingly, even though it’s a kids place it quiet down by 10pm.
Rooms: Clean rooms, kids still love bunk beds.
Food and drinks: All you can eat buffet! Nice!
