I left my box truck up there to get a new engine put in it it was a long tedious process to be able to run my business I got the box truck up there they were putting the engine in they kept telling me it needs more and more and more stuff and then they stopped communication with me I've called multiple times I've decided to stop up there to check on my box truck and now my whole truck everything is missing the place is still there but my box truck is nowhere to be found nowhere in sight I've been looking and looking and looking for this box truck and no communication or anything from them now I'm wondering if I have to report my box truck stolen because it's just disappeared

I've been going here for years, the prices are reasonable and I've never had issues with experiencing the same problems that I took my vehicles to get a fix for. The biggest downside is the lack of staff.

UPDATE ON THE BOTTOM!!!! Took my vehicle to Dennis smith because my husband and Dennis were friends. We made an agreement that he would do the inspection and rear shock on my vehicle which Dennis stated it would be $500 to $800. My husband handed him $1,000 and there was the agreement to not go over $1,000. He told us for 4 months every week that the vehicle would be ready. He contacted my husband 3 days before Christmas my vehicle was ready. When we showed up to pick up my vehicle he stated we were to pay an additional $1,080. He was not only extorting us but broke the title 37 Pennsylvania code section 301.5. he then told us he was removing parts from my vehicle and to call the Scranton police that he knows officer palmore, officer j. Smith because he is related to officer smith. We called the police to only find out that even though palmore was adviced by his sargeant that Dennis needed to release or property. That Dennis smith was able to turn and tell officer palmore he was not doing that. Officer palmore turned to me and my husband and stated nothing I can do then that we needed to take him to court for our vehicle. In which Dennis stated he knows the majestrate judge Joanne as well.the following day we contacted Dennis with now another aggrement that I would pay 700 and he would then realease my vehicle. I showed up now which would make it 5 months total that he had my vehicle. I was meet there by the Scranton police to find out it was officer palmore again Dennis smith friend. To only be told he wants the full 1,080 owed. When I left to retrieve the remaining amount i showed back up to find Dennis and now a different officer named Jessica laughing and being real flirty. I payed 2,080 for a vehicle that never even passed inspection the whole reason it was brought to him to begin with. Dennis has friends and family in the Scranton police department and knows the judges as well he has no promblem admitting that as well. He can rob and scam you even with evidence stacked against Dennis. He extorted me and broke many codes but the police turn the other cheek.i have recording of our agreement and never heard from Dennis that he was doing anything over the original agreement. He did what he wanted and even charged me for replacement of my gas hose which he broke I had just replaced the gas hose. I will be posting the videos and audio when I'm done editing everything. He has bad reviews on Google and yellow pages this isn't his first time and it won't be his last. Look him up lady's and gentlemen.if you go there he has nothing but traffic in and out and it's not about vehicles.he has nothing but vehicles that have been there for years the only new one would be yours if you bring it there and that will sit for months. They love having party's in the garage because I have the shot glasses in the bed of my vehicle. He also isn't the one who works on your vehicle it's a gentleman named Kevin who is herion addict. They post good reviews themselves to make his business look good. They have no problem taking your money and robbing you to party with.the funny thing is that he brags about being the only black man in Scranton running white people.from our experience he is write.which Scranton police doesn't get payed well enough so I see why they take his bribs. Like I said Dennis and my husband we're friends he had no reason to do this so if he can do this to a friend what makes you think you or your vehicle is safe. I turned my vehicle over to the state pending investigation.i will be posting updates the link to my YouTube will be coming soon which you will be able to see other scammers getting caught as well. Mind you he did this to my three baby's having no problem taking money from us which puts diapers on them and feeds them.then we wonder why our community is going down hill it's because of people like him left behind. We need to clean up the garbage left behind.

after paying off a truck from ace , I needed a simple oil change and they sabotaged my engine by sticking metal garbage in one of the cylinder chambers. now I needed a new engine!! I was a dedicated loyal customer and I am disabled with limited money, so I was not treated fairly or considered at all . I could write all my hardship with this company but I think this suffice.

Dennis, the owner of Ace Auto Repair has done a number of jobs for me both big and small. He has always been honest fixing things that other mechanics failed at. I encourage anyone with a car to use Ace Auto.

Ace Auto Repair 1 star. The owner towed my car on Dec 16 2014. It took him two weeks to find out 20 of 24 valves were bent and it would cost me $1,810 to replace all valves and install a new timing kit. I had asked if there was anything else he would recommend and he suggested polishing the heads for another $100. The first company he sent the heads off to be polished sat on them for 3 weeks before he went to them and sent them off to another company. That company took 5 days to polish them. He then spent the next 4 months installing the timing kit and installing the new valves. He sent the heads off 3 times before they passed compression. Once he got it all back together. He claims the crank blade bent knocking out my crank shaft positioning sensor and a retainer cracked. And on top of it he tried to blame me for it. I capped him at $2,500 and asked if he would be willing to do payments, and he said yes. So it took him another 2 months to replace the blade, sensor, and one retainer. Mind you now for the past 6 months he has told me my car will be ready next week, every week I believed him for 6 months that my car would be ready at the end of the week. And the worst part is I believed him each time, even told management everything he told me. I've ate very little just to make certain he could get paid. So after six months he then noticed the distributor had gone out and ordered a new one. It took him 2 more weeks to install that part. He picked me up on 64/26/2015 to take me to my bank. He shows me a video of my car running. I ask him how much do I owe him, he said, $3,400. He went $900 more then I wanted to. I took out nearly everything I have $2,500 leaving me only enough to make it through the next two weeks, before my next paycheck. I even reinstated my car insurance, had to use someone else because the low rates I was getting was no longer available, the past 6 years I've been with Progressive was no longer valid since I had gone over a month without being carried by them. I give him the money under the agreement that I would be leaving with my car right now and would make payments on the rest. It came down to $233 for the next 4 months. Then he asked me for $200 more just so he could break even on parts. I told him I couldn't do it, and if he wasn't going to let me leave with my car now, to had over the $2,500 I just gave him. He got up out of his seat went to my car and started to take it apart. He said he would take the new battery and the distributor out then I could the car as it was. At that time I asked to speak to Dennis and not this psycho path that was present. He walked off to go pet a dog. Came back to show me where he didn't charge me for two belts, towing, and the battery. He then added up the some parts in front of me which came up to $900. Then told me maybe on Wed I'll let you leave with the car and make payments. My life has been working a job that I don't like but wouldn't leave until I had my car. Because I was under the impression my car will be finished at the end of the week, every week for 6 months.
