Nice that they have a big kid/toddler area as well as a smaller scale infant/toddler. Large enough for kids to get energy out but small enough to keep an eye on your kids as they go through everything. Very clean location as well.

It's a really great place and reasonably priced. The kids have a ton of of fun. The owner is cool and a good artist. You need to keep track of your kids though, it's not a day care!!!

My son and I love Bee's Backyard. We recently moved to the area from the west coast, and socialization is a struggle because he's only 3 and I stay home with him. We found Bee's Backyard one rainy day, and have been back several times. It's lovely to have a place I can take him that's safe, clean, and fun! I also really enjoy that I am able to let him explore and play on his own, without having to hover. He is able to interact with other children of different ages, which is wonderful. Thank you for being there for our kids!

It's fun to bring your kid to just for the day. But I wouldn't recommend the birthday party. It was awful. Paid and extra 60$ for. Character appearance just for them to stand in the front of the birthday room and not even move or talk. Just seemed like he didn't want to be there. Wish I would have saved my 60$ if I knew the attitude of the character would have been so miserable.Plus for a paw patrol selected them and he extra money for the plates and cups. The room was like bare and empty. They should let people know to bring some decoration them self instead of having a depressing looking party for 300$!

We've been to this place a few times. But this last time we went I was very disappointed. People from one of the party rooms were walking with shoes, eating chips, lollipops and candies on the play areas, unacceptable ? I complained about it to the girls on the front desk, they didn't seem to care at all. Older kids running, jumping, screaming in the toddler area. Overall a nice place with plenty of fun things to do.

I've been tp several of these kids play places before, and the reason I like this one the best of those I've been to is it's easy to keep an eye on your kids without having to run all over the building. There are plenty of tubes and slides for your kids to enjoy, as well as a play area for toddlers as well.

It's very affordable I don't understand why they make u pay for socks when they're thin & cheap & have no grippers on them very pointless. The toddler section becomes taken over by older children even though it's height restricted I seen two older girls jumping off of a caterpillar in the toddler area. A lot of parents are not involved & that's why kids end up getting hurt. Manager/owner I'm guessing on his phone the whole time at the front desk. You ask for something & your forgot about if people start coming to the front desk. It is so unorganized it's absurd and in my opinion safer & more enjoyable at home with your own toys!

My kids love this spot and so do I! It's the perfect way to get through the afternoon. I'll meet a girlfriend to chat over coffee, while our kids get their wiggles out. I know they are in a safe space- running, climbing, and being social instead of zoning out on a screen. Bee's Backyard has made that 3pm down time fun for everyone!

I took my 16 month old for the first time and he seemed to have fun in the toddler area. My issue is how many older kids were barreling through the toddler area, chasing and hitting each other with the toddler toys. I constantly felt like my son was at risk of getting knocked over or hit because the older kids running around were not paying any attention. Why have a height restriction for the area if you're not going to enforce it? I also believe I saw a no running sign on the floor, which is obviously also not enforced. None of the 5 or 6 workers ever left the desk to monitor, clean, etc.I will most likely find an alternate place to take my son if the staff can't be bothered to enforce safety protocols/rules.

I wish they would post ahead of time when they are closed for private events. It’s a waste of time and money to drive into Scranton. And then have to explain to a 4 and 2 year old that they can visibly see it’s open, but why we can’t go in.

Clean and inexpensive play place. It has two areas. An area for infants/toddlers and older kids. My son really enjoyed it. You do need to be 100% involved in what your child is doing for safe play. It only seemed to be really young people working who were on cell phones. No one is monitoring for rule breaks. So older kids were in the toddler area much of the time taking over. The toddler room is height-restricted so small kids can play safely and without the pace of the older kids. This doesn't happen. I did see 3 toddlers in the hour I was there fall and hurt themselves. I think there was a large toy that wasn't safe as two kids got hurt on it when it flipped backward. The other problem is that many parents aren't really supervising their kids as if at a party where everyone knows each other. So no guidance or correction.I think the idea is nice but needs more active staff. I also think without enforcing the rules, makes the environment unsafe, especially for really small children. I also felt there could have been a few more toddler toys or obstacles. The floor was wet, a discarded water bottle, and a woman snacking in the play area...which you're not allowed to eat...which is what I mean by not enforcing rules.Bathrooms were clean, toys appeared clean, and the cost was cheap. It's worth a try but you have to stay close to your small child or help them play because of the issues stated above.
