Extremely good experience from start to finish. In the heart of downtown Scranton comes Chase bank! They were able to work with me even though they were getting ready to close within the hour. Upon walking in I was greeted very quickly and met with Jeff. Jeff is a great employee and answered all of my questions and worries. All of staff the staff were very friendly and eager to help me. They spoke to me with respect and made me feel good despite opening an account with only coins lol! The facility is very brand new and clean and it makes you feel good about where you’re putting your money at. Thank you to Jeff and John at Chase bank for being very personable and friendly. Professional banking and customer service to Scranton on new horizons. 🙌🏾

I don’t know about the racial comments but me and my Fiancé went to start up a new account for him we got help from Deborah and she was really amazing very sweet, funny and very helpful we really enjoyed our time don’t listen to the “racism” reviews.

I’m shocked to see the amount of bad reviews bc my experience couldn’t have been more opposite! My experience with this chase couldn’t have been better. I walked in & was immediately greeted by a bubbly polite woman asking what I needed, ( I’m so sorry I forget your name, but the woman with tattoos & red hair ) I told her I wanted to open a bank account & right away she started helping me. She offered me coffee & water, was polite, & the whole process was quick & smooth. I felt informed & comfortable the entire time! My mom who also uses this bank has nothing but good things to say about the people here. Thankyou for finally opening up in pa !

My husband, a man of color and owner our family plumbing business, faced racial profiling at this local Chase Bank during a routine business transaction. Despite our frequent transfers and check deposits, the bank denied cashing a check, stating that he couldn’t due to the customers card limit. When my husband suggested verifying if the check was valid by calling the customer, the banker was unwilling and ultimately denied the transaction saying “It wouldn’t matter if you call or not”. Later, my husband contacted the customer to which the customer revealed that the bank's claim of their card limit was false and they had well over x10 the amount they stated. It was also confirmed by Chase customer service, who acknowledged the misinformation and clarified that they could have processed the check. They really need to follow chase policies regarding discrimination. Any person, of any race, color, country can be successful.
