I was just at the viewmont mall and my son asked about a game to see if any store had preowned, the guy responded that it was super rare and he’s been looking for it himself and said good luck. Then he said oh wow, they have one up the road! Called the store asked to put aside. We drove straight there within 5 minutes, and they said it was purchased online and they can’t do anything or say no to online sales. Which I’ve ordered online and they cancelled orders on me for it being not in stock! I feel that it’s suspicious that the guy said he’s been looking for it and mentioned how rare and then within 5 minutes when it was supposed to be ON HOLD AT THE Register FOR US!!!! It’s all of a sudden not available.
This is not okay!!! And I know that they were all in on it because when we walked into the other store for the game the girl looked at her manager and the other worker like what do I do. And the guy tried to be like I can’t confirm or deny it was. That should not be allowed to happen and I can’t believe this employee did that and getting my son’s hopes up to do something like that !!!! I will make sure I share this experience to everyone I know!!!!!

Manager is very lazy the closed store for 2 hrs with lights off … GameStop will definitely go out of business…. Needed my game came from Poconos paid for it you didn’t put it in the bag lazy lazy nerd attitude

Was disappointed when I showed up to grab my online order and the gate was down. Walked the mall maybe half an hour and went back to them open, probably stepped out to grab lunch. The person who helped me was very polite and went above and beyond to make my daughter happy when she had a little tantrum in the store, very much appreciated and would shop again and recommend that location to anyone I know that shops GameStop! If it’s around 12pm and the gate is down just walk around, they’re probably taking break lol

Store was closed in the middle of the day when the hours are clearly posted that they should be open at 10am. Waited in the mall for well over an hour checking back to see if they would open and never did. When you call all you get is an automated system saying they are buys y helping other members. I was standing right outside the closed fate so clearly not. This isn’t the first time this has happens either. I have come to this location a number of times when they are supposed to be open and aren’t. Good thing i wasn’t picking up a pre order for this location or I would have been completely livid since you HAVE to pick it up at the exact location that you originally purchased it from and isnt valid at any other location. I always end up having to drive over to the location by target. This was especially irritating since I wanted to buy something on display in the window and i wasnt sure if the other location would even have it in stock. They really need to address this issue.

Small stores medium sized amount of variety most games and items are overpriced and depending on who's working you may run into a nice employee.
