I had my vehicle in for service at the end of October and dealt with Matthew - the service was great. Matthew was able to contact my extended warranty company to get my repairs covered, and he kept me updated throughout the entire repair process.
My repair estimate was spot on, the service was fast, and my vehicle came back looking better than when it went in for repairs. I travel from out of state to have my vehicle worked on, and will continue! Thanks, Matthew!

I made my appt for an inspection & 2 recalls a month prior. The wait time is a little ridiculous but not the end of the world. I was asked if i would be staying while the work was being completed. He said it should take 3-4 hrs, which i then said i would just drop it off. I dropped my SUV off at 8am yesterday. I mentioned to the employee that I would not be able to make it before 5pm to pick up my vehicle. I was wondering if they could somehow lock the key in the car & I could use the spare. But I was told by the young woman they are open untill 7pm. Which was perfect. The woman helping me had me check my info before leaving & my phone # was wrong. I gave her the correct # twice & emailed my insurance cards over.
Later on I headed back into town a little early because i wanted to be there before 7pm as i didn't hear anything all day from MBH. I called & left a message. I do believe it was about 5:30pm when I called for a status update. I showed up at 6:45pm & noone was around. The lights were off & all the doors were locked. Called this morning at 8am (didn't leave a message), called again at 9am (left a message), called again at 10:30 am & left a rude message that i was coming around 12pm to get my car regardless if it was finished or not. Got a call back 10 mins later from Matt saying my car was finished & he would call me back with an answer as to why there was no communication with me. Didn't get a call back. When i picked up my car the sales/cashier person was like a zombie reading from a script. Clearly he has been through some trauma with customers & i am not surprised. The stories I heard after the fact that it is known that the service department is absolute trash. Wish i had known this sooner because the free tire rotation was not worth it. Best part is the woman who helped me in the morning never fixed my phone # & that's why i was never notified. Never again.

Really poor customer service/communication. Called September 4th to have my car serviced due to a recall part (fuel pump) and the earliest appointment available was September 30th. I spoke to Eric in the service department who was helpful and pleasant but at no point stated in order to change out the part that the fuel couldn’t be over a certain level. I just got a call from a Cassandra, confused about why my car was there/what work was supposed to be done. When I told her, she stated that not only could they could not perform the work because there was too much fuel in the vehicle (stating repeatedly I was told this when scheduling the appointment when I know I was not) but she would also not be making me another appointment. She told me to “ drive the car and get the fuel level to about half a tank and then call back to reschedule.” I asked if we could just reschedule the appointment now which made more sense to me, and I was told no. She couldn’t schedule anything before October 22. I understand if that was the first available, but to not be able to actually make an appointment before that makes no sense to me? It’s really frustrating that I had to wait weeks for the appointment and then they didn't own the mistake or apologize about it but instead shifted it as my fault. Really expected a better experience from the dealership I had bought the car from, new, in 2019.

I have purchased 4 vehicles from Matt Burne Honda since 2001. I've always had my cars serviced at the dealership. The service department WAS what kept me coming back and until today this WAS a 5 star review. Not any more. Called on 8/29/25 for an inspection. The earliest appointment they had was 9/24/25, almost a month out. I explained I needed it by 9/15/25 for a trip and was told there was nothing they could do. He went on to explain they are very busy with recalls. It seemed more like they didn't want to be bothered with it. Very disappointed.

I have made my final purchase from them after acquiring three new vehicles. They provided inaccurate information regarding a recall, claiming they did not have the necessary part, which I know to be untrue. Consequently, I took my HRV to MotorWorld, where the recall was resolved without issue. Additionally, the lifetime oil changes they offered consistently fell short by a quart. My next Honda purchase will be from a different dealership.

Prior to December of 2024 service was amazing. Since January of 2025 I have not been able to reach service and when I do my calls get pushed to the side. Today I was told that they can't fit me in for a simple oil change and tire rotation until a month out. Previously I was told that they would not do work on an older model Honda because it wasn't worth their time. Very disheartened.

It's difficult to get the parts department on the phone. They are usually friendly when you make it into the parts and service department. Parking is a bit tricky since the dealership is located in a pretty busy port of the city.

Excellent experience with this dealership. My salesman Dave Walsh was amazing. I am happy with my purchase! I’ve had terrible experiences with other dealerships and was skeptical to try another, but so happy I did. Would definitely recommend Matt Burne Honda! Thanks again Dave!

Contacted the service department about the fuel pump impeller recall. It was explained that my vehicle had no open recalls . They went through the trouble of pulling up the service record & and read everything that was serviced by a dealer. They could have quit after no recalls came up . I now know the fuel pump was serviced. A dealer who goes through that much effort is quality care . The vehicle wasn't bought there & they owed me no information other than it was previously fixed before purchasing. Very courteous & willing to help .

Our experience with Matt Burne Honda has always been great but our most recent experience was exceptional. After paying off our loan with Honda Financial, 2 months later, we had not received our title. After a dozen calls with no resolution, my husband contacted Kevin Moylan in the Matt Burne Finance dept to see if he could provide some guidance. Kevin was extremely helpful! He jumped right on it, used his contacts and within 10 days we had our title! We couldn’t be more pleased and appreciative of the help we received from Kevin!

When to honda to look at a 2022 honda civic. I was dealing with Jamie thru every step of the way! He was very understanding, very patient. Answered all my question. Always got back to me when he said he would! I had a FANTASTIC buy with Jamie. He didnt rush things. He was by my side from the start! Couldn't have asked for a smooth sale! I wish I could get Jamie a better rate then a 10! Thank you honda and thank you Jamie! I love my new honda civic!
