A decent sized thrift store and probably the biggest one in the area for me. That’s kinda the only good thing I can say about this place.
First of all compared to the couple goodwills in Dickson, this place has a huge problem with overstocking the racks, some days I’ve been here it was so cluttered I couldn’t even get a look at something in full without taking it off the rack or else 3 other pieces of clothes will fall of their hangers. Ive been to a couple other bigger thrift stores out of town and they were definitely nowhere near as cluttered as this one feels.
Another problem is they purposefully price all the “cute and trendy” items higher like for example one time when I was there I found this cute baby pink dress I took an interest in upcycling, only when I was waiting for an open fitting room I took a look at the price tag ALMOST 20 DOLLARS, keep in mind I don’t believe this was any designer brand and also had 3 VISIBLE stains on it so I truly don’t know where they even got that price from.

Closes at 5:30, not 6p. They have guards to stop you going in at 5:30. Luckily goodwill is open across town until 8p!

Pricing is out of control and there is only 1 sale tag per week now. Have you given your employees a raise or is the money going into the executives pockets? Your programs help people in the community but the clothing also helps people with little means to be able to purchase. Makes no sense to jack up the prices of an item that came from Walmart.

I like this salvation army. Its a big store with plenty of inventory, prices is always good too. HOWEVER I just went today to take advantage of all tags being 50% off and spent $100, half in which is garbage because they staple their tags on the clothing and it leaves holes (you cant tell until their tag is off too). All my stuff i bought today also had original tags. They literally wasted it. Total garbage. Do better SA

Decent prices but I can tell they’re pricing higher which is rude considering they get everything for free…
Also, the whole stapling of the tag on the clothes???? Why? The staples cause holes and sweaters to come apart… Getting them off once you’re home is a pain (literally) as I have stabbed myself many times trying. Not to mention how dirty the staple must be and now all the germs have entered my blood stream…..
not okay especially if the prices keep going up and up.

This salvation army is not the biggest, but the items they have have consistently been quality and at very good prices. The employees have been helpful and kind. Great thrift store.

I've noticed that the "owner" replies to posts here, which is a GREAT thing! I'm here to commend a gentleman named Floyd who had been accepting my donations on a Sunday morning. Floyd was not only congenial and friendly, but also had explained in great details the "policy" (my wording) of what are acceptable donations. In my own words, I will tell donors to not bring items which need to be assembled, or "put together," please do not bring "holiday" items, and definitely do NOT dump tires into donation boxes. That is ILLEGAL DUMPING and the vagabonds who do that are ultimately costing this great organization at a price which ultimately falls on the people they are trying so hard to help. I'm very confident that both Floyd and the person reading this review will be pleased with learning that some of us out here are as dedicated to their mission as they are. Kudos to you for a job well done. ?

Got there 10 minutes before closing and they have already closed the doors and kicked everyone out. They said that they have to have the store closed by 6. The hours they have posted on here do not reflect what the employees abide by. I went out of my way to come here on a vacation just to be turned away.

Look if your hours are open until 6 then you shouldn't be turning people away at the door 15 minutes before. You're not a restaurant with kitchen staff to think about. Think about changing your posted hours if that's the case.
