I went to this Ulta hoping for guidance in creating a natural “no-makeup makeup” look, but I left feeling very disappointed. The associate did not properly shade-match me. The concealer I was recommended gave me a whitish cast, and the products chosen didn’t actually suit the soft, natural look I asked for. Instead, it felt like I was being sold items they wanted to push, rather than products that truly worked for my skin tone and goals. I went to Sephora after and they actually recommended some great products that worked better. I know Ulta has a huge selection so maybe it was hard for them to chose but I’d rather her tell me she doesn’t know that suggest things that flat out contradict the whole look.
On top of that, when I returned for a hair appointment with a clear inspo photo, the style didn’t match what I asked for and the curls didn’t even last the 20-minute ride home. For the time and money spent, I expected better product knowledge, honesty, and styling that would hold up outside the salon. This felt like I went to my aunts house for her to flat iron my hair instead of meeting with someone who is supposed to be an expert. I had to tell her how to handle my hair and they didn’t even wash it properly.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I think it’s important to share so others know that this location is not brown girl friendly in terms of product knowledge and styling.

I was standing there for 10 minutes and when another cashier finally came she ignored me and took someone else 😐😐 and the customer that was being helped by the first cashier look at me with an apologetic look because she knew I was there and waiting

Janisa (Benefit) is amazing. I’ve been coming to her for my brows since i moved here and I will be coming to her for as long as she works at Ulta. This is an exceptionally run store and all of the workers are helpful and friendly.

Several months ago, I got my hair done here, and went a little darker than I normally do, and Courtney from the salon did a great job. For summer, I wanted to go back to the bright highlights I normally do, and Courtney again did a great job. I left feeling great and ready for summer! Thank you, Courtney!

There is never anyone available to help. They are all too busy chatting amongst themselves about their plans the night before rather then helping customers. To the point if I go in the store after work, customers are asking me for help b/c they think I work there. I went in yesterday for an even exchange from a shampoo to conditioner. The associate did not know how to do an even exchange. The manager or keyhole didn't either. They ended up returning the item and then charged me again but said I owed more $$$ how is that even possible?? Such poor customer service!! Ill shop online or at Sephora from now on.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but i had to give Brulinda a shoutout! she absolutely killed it with my hair! i walked in not totally sure with what i wanted and she managed to capture it perfectly! she was super tedious and even styled my hair for me! super sweet, easy to talk to and clearly knows her stuff. I can tell she genuinely cares for what she does. I’ve never been happier with a salon. if you’re thinking about booking her, do it!

Kayla is very rude, to work with the public she might want to learn customer service. I was taken back knowing I was bothering her as she was talking with another employee. When I approached her body language was very clear, she made it known I was interrupting her and her conversation with her coworkers mind you the conversation with the coworkers was to my knowledge not work related. Then when she was addressing me she was treating me as if I was a child. Very disappointed with the store

While the store itself is nice, the customer service has been a huge disappointment. Instead of offering assistance, employees seem more focused on mocking customers who may not know exactly what they're looking for. It's disheartening that they don't take the time to understand and help. I used to have a great experience there, especially with Jade—she was incredible. I truly miss her service. Unfortunately, given the recent changes, I won't be returning.

My only quam has nothing to do with the shop itself but with the standards of the customers as far as taken care of the product testers. It looked to me like customers of this location were brutal! Many were missing or broken. The staff was wonderful! And they carry all the goods!
